20 Second fitness! (Week 2)

Week 2

You may remember me telling you about me staring the program for  20 Second Fitness  , well I am already finished with week two. Wow that was a fast two weeks.  The program consists of four daily workouts and two warm up weeks. So I completed the warm up weeks. I have to say this is more intense than I am used to (flipping channels on the couch was the standard exercise for me in the past). But I am doing fine, I love the shortness of the workouts 6-12 minutes depending on what routine you are doing, this really gets my muscles moving, and I am still sore. This is an intense fast workout. Well I have no time to be bored with this workout for sure.

I have added doing the jump rope as an extra workout during the week, and I have to say this was so easy when I was a kid! I would jump rope all of the time! But it is much harder now, well at least I do not get tangled in the rope, I still can do it.

After the two warm up weeks, I can see a difference in the way my pants fit, and that is wonderful!
This was tough but doable for me, by I can only imagine how the real weeks will be like! My first non-warm-up week starts tomorrow. I have to admit I am nervous, I hope I can do it. Well I just have to think positive, yes I can do this.

To answer some of your questions… No the workout is not just 20 seconds. The name is for the for the sets of workouts you do that last 20 second each. The actual workouts are around 6 minutes. It is a very short workout though… It is tough, but quick. I like this much more than those 45 minute workout dvd’s I have done in the past. My time is so very valuable to me.

So please stay tuned for next week’s chapter when the real fun starts : )
