Spring Break

Thanks for the post, Lorraine Gregory

School had just let out for Spring Break. I have two little boys, so I knew I was going to have my hands full.
We usually go on vacation, but this year was different. My husband had to go away for work, so no Spring
Break vacation for us. I was going to be stuck in a house, alone, with two wild boys. A week full of
wrestling, screaming, and possibly some booger flinging. I was a little worried for my sanity, but I knew
I could always send them outside to play if my nerves got too shot. Boy was I in for a surprise when it
decided to rain the entire week. My boys instantly started getting restless and complaining that there was
nothing to do. I directed them to the television. They started complaining that there wasn’t anything to watch.
My boys are very hard to please when it comes to T.V. shows, so I thought about what I liked as a kid.
The first thing that popped into my head was The Flintstones.
I knew my boys would love that and that we could watch it together.
I went to www.tvbydirect.com and updated my package, so I could have the Boomerang channel.
I lucked out; there was a Flintstones marathon on. My boys were angels the entire day and
I had found something we could do together.
