YoKids Greek Yogurt- Review (And a Giveaway)

Are you a fan of great yogurt? Well I have a suggestion for you, I have some across a yummy yogurt that is great for kids, YoKids Greek yogurt along with YoKids Squeezers, here is a little more information about them from the website:

With 6 grams of protein and an excellent source of calcium made with low-fat organic milk, YoKids Greek yogurt is perfect for meal or snack time. And, as the only organic Greek yogurt available for kids, YoKids Greek provides families a quality product produced without the use of toxic persistent pesticides, antibiotics, growth hormones, genetically engineered ingredients, or artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners.

YoKids is real food made with pure organic ingredients produced on real family farms. We don’t use fillers, gelatin, phony colors, preservatives or high-fructose corn syrup like you’ll find in other kids’ yogurts.

My Review:

I love yogurt, and I try to eat it a few times a week,  my daughter takes after me she is a big fan of yogurt too. It is great that she loves yogurt, the calcium and the protein is great for her. She never tried Greek yogurt before. I was excited to be able to try YoKids Greek yogurt. Greek yogurt is just a little different that “regular” yogurt. We tried the raspberry YoKids Greek yogurt.

It is thicker and more solid than yogurts I have had in the past. I think it just tasted like a richer delicious yogurt, and my daughter could not tell the difference. It had a good raspberry taste, and my daughter enjoyed this very much.

My daughter also loved the YoKids Squeezers, she loved the strawberry yogurt, but I think she loved the tube the most, what is with kids and loving things that come out of a tube? I guess they like that it is portable, and no spoons are needed?  Well when I think of it that way, I can see why it is loved by my daughter, and the fact that it is very tasty that is great too.

So if you are looking for some flavorful yogurt for your kids make sure to check out Stonyfield for kids. Remember Stonyfield also has a great variety for adults too as well as yougurt for babies, make sure to check it out the next time you are in the supermarket you will not be disappointed.

i learned that we’ve put so large a volume of pesticides into the world that they now find their way into our bodies even before we’re born; multiple pesticides can be found in the umbilical cord blood of newborn babies

Studies have found organic fruits and veggies to contain, for example, up to 30% more antioxidants, which promote immune and heart health. Research has also shown organic milk to have more omega-3 fatty acids, which the modern diet dangerously lacks, nutritionists tell us.

I learned that "natural" on a food item doesn't have a strict meaning, whereas "organic" does.
