Lost Crates - Review (And a Giveaway)

Are you looking for a unique gift, something that dad does not have this Father’s Day? How about a Lost Crate? Well what are lost crates? They are an amazing idea, in my opinion and would make great gifts for dad and just about anyone. Here is a little more information about what Lost Crates are from the website:

We love beautiful design; it's as simple as that. At Lost Crates, we believe that the smallest changes can turn something from boring to fascinating, and we strive to help you make that difference with our curated crates. We started out with notebooks, writing instruments, desk accessories, and stationery, but after months of stumbling across amazing products that we couldn't pass off as stationery (believe us, we tried), we knew we needed to expand our offerings. No matter what your passions are - writing, food, the environment - you'll find the crate for you. Always well-designed."

They have so many great crates, that you can purchase, including Eco Crates, Housewear crates,  Foodie Crates,  Found In crates. All crates are filled with select items that are unique and surely will be loved! I was very fortunate to be able to review a Eco Crate from Lost Crates:

Who wouldn't love a crate (box really) that is full of different and unique items from a specific genre. We love to travel and I knew this eco crate was just made for us. This is April's Eco-Crate from Lost crates, a monthly or quarterly subscription service.  The items are  quality and are a great deal for the price of the crate. For this particular crate, you get all of these great items a $48.00 value for $38.00 (plus shipping) so this is a wonderful way to try new things and get your money's worth. Here is what was in my crate:

Malin + Goetz Body Eco Crate:

If you're looking for products that are great for the environment as well as your body, look no further. With this month's crate from our friends at Malin + Goetz, you can take care of your skin and hair with the best shampoos, moisturizers, and lip balms in the business. With wholesome, natural ingredients like grapefruit, chamomile, shea butter and cilantro, these products will make you look, smell and feel great.

This crate was filled with great body items that are environmentally friendly including:

1oz Essential Kit by Malin + Goetz  —  retail price $30

This travel kit contains everything you need to feel awesome from head to toe. This array of advanced skin and hair products is made from natural ingredients that will work wonders.

We love to travel as a family so my husband and I love to travel and when we do we usually share travel supplies, what I mean is I pack my items and he "borrows" what I bring.  So this little kit was great for us. The smells were wonderful and natural smelling no chemical smells here...

Lip Moisturizer by Malin + Goetz  —  retail price $8

Do regular lip moisturizers fall short of your expectations? That's because they don't use absorbent fatty acids that restore and replenish on contact. You'll never go back after trying this one.

I am a lip balm lover, always have been I never really stray from my lip balms. And without this kit I would have never met my favorite lip "balm" of all time! This moisturizer is the best! I am amazed at how well this keeps my lips moisturized. Love it!

Rum Bar Soap by Malin + Goetz  —  retail price $10

We promise this bar of soap won't leave you smelling like you just got back from a night on the town. The rum soap bar hydrates gently without irritation or stripping and is just lightly scented.

A soap that makes you think you are on a tropical island? Well sign me up. The rum sent was great and it just took me away. My husband also loved this soap what a break from the usual!

The kits are well though out, and well put together.  I would love to get a Found In ____ crate. What a great idea, I love to travel but there are so many places I have never been to and this crate sends you items from different spotlight countries and states, what a way to get a "taste" of a certain place without leaving home. What fun!

You can even purchase a gift subscription to Lost Crates, why do a jelly of the month club for a loved one? Show you really care and send they a very cool and different gift a lost crates subscription. They have crates for everyone, you will surely find the perfect crate for that special someone.

And remember Father’s Day is right around the corner (it will be here before you know it. And you can find some great gift ideas for someone who loves surprises, I am a lover of surprises and I am sure some of your loved ones are as well. Can't wait to find out what this months crate is? Well it does not have to be a surprise at all, if you would like you can peek at what is in the crate right on the site, it is up to you a surprise or not?
