Lucky Leaf pie filling - Blueberry Cobbler recipe (Great for Mother's Day!)

With the spring, comes baking season in our house, Lucky Leaf premium pie fillings is there to help me this season.   Since it mother’s day is right around the corner,   and with my family we have multiple mother’s day celebrations, one for my mom and one for my husband’s mother. It was becoming too much to travel to each of their homes on mother day itself. So we came up with  visiting one mother on Sunday mother’s day (well shouldn’t everyday be mother’s day?) And the other mother’s house the week before for a nice dinner. This week we visited my in-laws for our first mother’s day celebration.

I wanted to make something easy but delicious I checked out all of the great recipes that are available on the Lucky Leaf site, and when I came across the Simple and SweetieBlueberry Cobbler I knew that would be what I would be making. It looked so simple, and I had all of the ingredients in house. And as a working mother that is always a plus, I don’t have the time to run off to the store at a last minutes notice to buy ingredients.

This was a very simple recipe to follow, and I just had to use basic ingredients.(did not get a picture of the milk though)

As I made the cobbler there was a lot of blueberries on the top… What happened? I think I added too much cobbler on the top, and it came out like this. This looks like a blueberry surprise cake doesn’t it? The surprise is, yes there are delicious blueberries inside :) When I cut the cobbler, there were the blueberries,  so delicious!

This was such a hit for desert, my in-laws were very impressed.  The cobbler tasted like I spent hours making it, when it only took about an hour (shhh!  ; ) My daughter just adored this, and asked for seconds. This was a dessert that went quickly. So if you are making a dessert to bring with you this mother’s day, I would recommend Lucky Leaf premium pie filling. Why not try the Sweetie Blueberry Cobbler I am sure your family will love it too! Lucky Leaf makes baking so much easier, and the pie filling is sweet, but not overly so. It is just plain good.

Using a pie filling seems to be a great way to save yourself some hassle without sacrificing too much on taste. Thanks for the recommendation.
