Snipe Hunt a great game for kids!

Are you looking for a game that will get the kids out and running around having fun? Well I would love to suggest a great new game (well new to me) Snipe Hunt, here is a little more information about Snipe Hunt from the website:

For many years the legendary Snipe Hunt has been a favorite ritual of northwood family campfires. Until recently it was thought the elusive Snipe only existed in the minds of the prankster & the prankee. Recent evidence by Education Outdoors supports a different explanation of these unique little animals…

The Snipe hunt game can be played with two people, two teams or special * single seeker play, and incorporates both indoor/outdoor activity and good old fashion fun. The object of Snipe is Be the first team/person to find the other team/persons snipe and return it to its nest.

 My Review:

I laughed when I saw the box for the first time…it reminded me of one of my favorite episodes of Cheers the episode when the guys took Frasier “snipe hunting.” Little did Frasier know that there is no such thing as snipe and it was all a ruse. Well it is no longer a ruse thanks to Snipe Hunt the game.
This game brings hide and seek to a really cool level because it can be played in the dark! The snipe chirp and their eyes light up and I’m really looking forward to bringing this up to my mother’s house in a couple of weeks to be able to play in a large yard with ample places to hide the snipe because our house and yard aren’t exactly large and hiding spaces are limited. So being able to use my parents spacious backyard is something my daughter is looking forward to.

It’s a team based game kind of like capture the flag, each team has to hide their snipe and the first team to capture the other teams snipe if the winner. It’s a game everyone can enjoy because it is so incredibly simple to understand and play, there aren’t a million rules and kids of almost any age can play. All you need are 4 AAA batteries and a few people and you will be in for a fun time, just playing around our house we can see how much fun this game is, we can’t wait to add more space and people to the mix to see how much more fun we can really have.

So if you are looking for a fun game for the kids to play this summer I would recommend Snipe Hunt, my daughter had a blast, and it was nice to see her running around playing a game, instead of just sitting...
