Tea Forte’s Tea Over Ice Brewing Pitcher

Steep hot tea in the lidded upper pitcher and then Flash Chill deliciously fresh iced tea by pouring the brewed beverage into the ice in the lower pitcher for immediate service. The signature piece of our Tea-Over-Ice™ line, these sculpturally designed pitchers are made from hand-blown heat-resistant glass and stack for a captivating tableside presentation.

For use with our larger, specially designed Twelve-Over-Ice or Five-Over-Ice pyramid infusers. The proportions of hot water, tea and ice are perfectly balanced to produce a fresh 24 oz. pitcher of iced tea with each infuser.

My Review: 

 

If I had the choice of coffee or tea, I have always picked tea. I am a tea person, and so is my husband I guess that is one reason we get along so well.  Tea is just so relaxing for me. I could have a hectic day at work, and come home to some fresh brewed tea (hot or cold) and I am transported to another place. A place where I am calm and just comfortable.  I was so excited when I had a chance to do a review for Tea Forte, because tea is my passion. And I have never had anything like the Tea-Over-Ice brewer, it is so very unique. But would it give me the great tea taste that I want?

Well as soon as this arrived I could not wait to try it. The tea-over ice brewer is a very nice glass brewer that is used to flash chill your tea over ice. The brewer looks like a classic glass pitcher that is very easy to use. And looks great on any table. The brewer  is a 3 part item, the base (the pitcher) and a smaller pitcher on the top with a glass lid. This is very simple to use, simply fill the bottom pitcher with ice and make sure to add a Tea Forte tea bag to your boiling water make sure to steep like any other tea bag. When this is done, pour the tea into the pitcher over the ice cubes. 

I was afraid that the glass may break because of the change in temperature. But I had no issues, and in no time my tea was nice and cold delicious. After I poured my tea, I was able to add any extras, sweeteners etc. I was very impressed with Tea-Over-Ice. I would recommend this to any true tea fan. You will get a great tasting fresh brewed flavor iced each in a short time. The tea is delicious as well. I was also sent a great tea sampler to try with the brewer.

I love these teas, they remind me of my stay in New Orleans, each morning our hotel, The Omni would deliver tea, and this was the tea that they delivered. It was a delicious treat that I looked forward to each morning.  I love the “leaf” it makes grabbing the bag so much easier.The teas, are great, I am a huge fan.

• Iced Pomegranate Blackberry

I loved the Iced Pomegranate Blackberry, it was a great tasting fruity black tea, that worked well iced. This did not even need a sweetener, it had such a great flavor alone. My daughter loved the Iced Rasberry nectar, with a little honey added. She was a big fan.

I was very impressed with Tea Forte, and this Tea Over Ice Brewing Pitcher, the pitcher is well made and I look forward to enjoying this for years to come.
