I was very fortunate to be able to review a Mother Lode wheeled duffel

"When we set out to design the new Mother Lode wheeled duffels, we first turned to the experts – our Customers. Combing through thousands of testimonials, our goals were to identify the most (and least) loved parts of the bag, what were the key missing features, and what was the overarching mood of our customer. After 12+ months of development, we're confident the TLS collection will exceed your expectations. We kept the best parts of the orig. Mother Lode and added a number of new features: add-a-bag strap, expandability, compression straps, more zippered pockets, a flexible bottom compartment , an innovative patent-pending backbone for rigidity, and beautiful fabric. Enjoy!"

My Review:

I have a love hate relationship with traveling, I love to travel but I hate to fly. I get so worried about flying that I have trouble packing due to the anxiety of my impending flight. I’m a mess….so much so that I have to have my husband pack for me, thankfully he’s a terrific folder and organizer so packing is simple for him but he hates my bag because my bag isn’t roomy and it’s a little on the narrow side so it  really puts his folding skills to task. When I told him I was getting a new bag from eBags  it was like I gave him a gift!
This bag is really nice, it’s a rolling duffel that has so much room it can fit my old bag inside of it comfortably. And one of the really nice features is the telescoping handle has two heights making it easy for either of us to pull, my old bag had a shorter handle and if my husband had to pull it along it killed his back but with the adjustable height of the handle it’s a perfect compromise.

The inside of the bag is ample and compartmentalized in a way, there are removable dividers that can be totally removed or adjusted to several sizes to accommodate what you need to pack. That’s the main compartment, the top half is just as roomy and you can access it from the outside of the bag! There is a ton of storage in this bag and if you stuff it silly and need a little extra breathing room no worries there the bag is expandable so you can get that little extra space you’ll need to zipper your bag shut.
The hardware on this bag is great, the zippers are heavy and thick and aren’t cheap and flimsy, the overall construction of the bag is top notch and will hold up to what the airlines can throw at it. Another nice feature is this bag when full won’t tip over it is balanced very well unlike a lot of other bags that tip over easily. Overall this bag is super roomy, super functional and it just flat out looks good. If you’re looking for a quality bag that is functional and stylish head on over to eBags you will find what you’re looking for there.
