Happy Hot Dog Month! Make sure to enjoy some Petit Jean hot dogs this month.

Did you know that July is national hot dog month? Well I had no idea, until recently that there was even a thing like national hot dog month??

When you think of it, July is the perfect month for National Hot Dog month, it is a month full of summer fun and the 4^th of July of course. That has to be the day that most of us eat at least one hot dog right?  If you are looking for a delicious hot dog, think of Petit Jean meats.  I was fortunate to be able to try some of the delicious hot dogs, Jumbo Grillers and polish sausages from Petit Jean Meats.

We tried the Hot dogs, first off I have to tell you all that my husband is a big hot do fan. But not any hot dog will do, he will only eat a select few brands. He enjoys quality dogs, and not every dog will do for him. So when he saw “red” hot dogs, I think he was a little apprehensive….  But he tried them, and we all loved them. The hot dogs had a great flavor, and a very slight spice. Using quality cuts of beef and pork, to insure the best hot dogs. Delicious!

 

Now the Jumbo Grillers were right up my husband’s alley, these were manly man hot dogs, they were huge! They made the buns look so very tiny.  But they are just as big in flavor as they are in size.  They were packed in packages of four, which made serving these dogs much easier. I think all of the hot dogs should be packaged like this so if you do not want a big 8 pack the smaller packs are great for my small family.

The polish sausages had a great flavor and a nice snap. They reminded me of the homemade sausages I would have from my great grandmother (yes I had a great-grandmother) came over when I was a little girl. Oh the memories these great sausages brought back. If you love authentic polish sausages, you will love these. Even though they are not technically hot dogs, they are close enough and will be loved at your next picnic or event.

So I am sure you all have your cookouts planned, but why not pick up some great hot dogs from Petit Jean meats this July to celebrate with some amazing hot dogs that your family will love!  Make sure to stock up, you will love the Petit Jean Meats quality, they taste wonderful and they are the best of the best!
