We have been going through a bit of a heat wave here in the northeast
we have had weeks of 90+ days, it has been sweltering! What kind of shoes can
you really wear on these super hot days? Well, bulky heavy sneakers are out, and
so are just about any shoe that covers up your feet, it is just too hot to wear
them. That leaves my favorite shoes of all.
Have you ever tried Havaianas sandals? Well if you have not
you are missing out on the most comfortable sandals (flip flips as I call them)
you have or will ever have worn.
I know that is a bold statement, but I think it is 100% true.
These are life changing flip flips, I will never be back to those cheap flops I
have used in the past.
Havaianas sandals offer many styles that would work for
dress or play, the amazing styles range from a simple black pair, to a beautiful
golden flower pair. Out of all of the choices, my favorite was, The Muppets
pair. Yes I know, I know all of the beautiful
style shoes and I go for the Muppet pair?
But I love the Muppets, they remind
me of being a kid. And one of my favorite rides on Disney property is Muppet Vision 3-D at Walt Disney World Resort, I am just a kid at heart
and I love the Muppet Havaianas sandals. (they make them for guys too). The Havaianas sandals feel like you are stepping
on marshmallow clouds. It is amazing, the soft feel of the cushion bottom of
the shoe is just amazing. And there is
no rubbing, they thong part of the sandals is very soft and feels great against
the skin.
They also have some great Disney sandals as well. My daughter
would just flip for these sandals. And I would love that she would not complain
that her feet hurt after walking for 20 minutes like she does with her current
flip flops. I know she would love the comfort of the Havaianas sandals as much as I do. I hope that they have adult Disney sizes soon :)
Sure the $26.95 price tag may scare some, “But I can get
flip flips for $1.00”. Well getting sandals for a $1.00 might be an option,
there is no way that those cheap sandals will ever feel as comfortable as Havaianas
sandals.
I wanted to check out the shoes more, and find out about their
origins. Havaianas have been around since, 1962. The first pair of Havaianas was born in 1962.
It was inspired by the Zori, typical
Japanese sandals made of fabric straps and rice straw soles. It is for this
reason that the foot-bed of all Havaianas have a textured rice pattern, one of
its many unmistakable features.
The popularity of Havaianas sandals has grown through the
years. You don’t have to wonder why this company is still thriving, the quality
of the product is remarkable.The product is well made and built to last. If you are
looking for a great pair of sandals for this summer, or for anytime really (I
wear my flip flips in the house year round) I fully recommend Havaianas sandals.
