I have mentioned before that I have a bit of a black thumb when it comes to plants… Opposed to a person who does so well gardening that they are said to have a green thumb, I do so poorly that I call myself a black thumb. It is a shame I love plants, but it seems like I can’t keep them alive for some reason. I want to make sure my daughter has better luck with plants when she grows up. When I found out that I would be able to review a Bonsai tree from the soothing company, I was so excited. I have always loved the idea of Bonsai trees, ever since I saw the Karate Kid when I was young I was fascinated with the little trees.

If you are not familiar with what a Bonsai tree is, The art of growing dwarfed, ornamentally shaped trees or shrubs in small shallow pots or trays. Basically a small version of a tree that is made to stay in your home or made to stay outside. I know how bad the weather can get here in the northeast so I opted for a plant that is made for the inside. The tree arrived quickly and was packed amazingly well.

The tree was in great condition and was ready to be enjoyed.  The tree looks great in the kitchen, it just makes the room feel more comfortable. The dark base looks great with any color and blends well with the room.  My daughter is taking great care of the tree with mommy, it was nice to see her slowing down and taking care of the soil and taking great care for the plant.  They recommend that you water the plant every five to seven days so it is easy to take of even for me!

I love that my daughter cares so much for her Bonsai, she has really taken to gardening and it sweet to see, she is always making sure the plant has  water, and loves to show her mini tree to her friends. The price for this Bonsai is $45.00.  For some this may be high, but this is not just any potted plant, it is unique and it is a great addition to your home. You will love it, I know my daughter did. She is going to have a green thumb I know it!
