Our Take:
Well I have to say I am impressed with the price of this
boxed set, under $30 for 10 DVD’s is an amazing price. I am a bit of a Civil
War buff, and I love reading about and visiting historical sites that have to
do with the Civil War, just this past summer I was fortunate to be able to
visit Gettysburg and really get into the civil war from many aspects. So I was
very excited to be able to check out these great dvd’s. The collection is a
great timeline of the entire war. Each dvd is filled with an amazing amount of
facts and photos. It is fascinating, and I just no not envy these solders, the
tough conditions of this was were especially hard. But the dvd’s are very easy
to watch and I enjoyed seeing them with my husband. And my daughter is just
starting to learn about the Civil War in school, so these dvds will be great
for her to watch soon.

Our Take:
As you can all guess I am a WWII history buff as well. Yes
we took the trek down to New Orleans to visit the National WWII museum… twice!
This dvd follows the war well, and it keeps your attention. It is entertaining and
never boring. I loved seeing the never before seen footage, I have seen my
share of war documentaries and I never did see this footage. Sometimes it is
hard to watch, but war is hell, that that is the truth. After watching this dvd
set, I can only hope that there is never a WW3. I was very impressed with this
dvd set, and I am sure I will watch it again and again in the future.
So if you have a military or history buff as a valentine
this year any of these affordable dvd sets would make a great Valentine gift
for that special someone. Some of the new releases retail for only $9.98, so
affordable that you could pick up more than one for those special someone’s in
your life.
