YesterYear Soap Company Review (and a Giveaway)

Do you just love great smelling soaps? Well I have a great site to introduce you all to, a site you will love the YesterYear Soap Company, here is a little more information about this great company from the website:
At the YesterYear Soap Company, we are preserving the timeless craft of artisan soap making. With our hand crafted soap you’ll enjoy its moisturizing, cleansing and soothing benefits- all natural soap without added chemicals, preservatives or synthetic fragrances.
A good bar soap balances bar hardness (durability), lather quality (both fluffiness and stability), and moisturizing ability. These different properties come from the different fatty acids that make up molecules of the  vegetable oils we use as the base of our soap. Unfortunately, the fatty acids that are moisturizing are not those that contribute much to lather quality, and the ones that make great lather are drying to our skin. A perfect bar soap is the result of carefully balancing the fatty acids to maximize the bar's hardness, lather quality, and moisturizing ability.

There are so very many great looking items on the site, here are a few of my favorites:

'Chunks of Soap' Gift Basket

3 Bar Gift Set

3 Bar Set of Greek Yogurt Soap

As you all know I am a busy working mother, I am always on the go and my life is very hectic. As hectic my life is, I would not have it any other way I love my crazy life. But there are times I just have to slow it down and relax. For me there is nothing more relaxing than a nice bath, I love to relax  with warm water and great smelling soaps. When I do this I am just fully relaxed and smelling great… it is wonderful I am perked up and ready for another busy day. I was very fortunate to be able to review the Mango Papaya soap with a cutting board and soap cutter, handmade soaps from the YesterYear Soap Company. A soap loaf that you could cut for fresh shop, this is a great item, not only is it wonderfully smelling  handcrafted soap, with the loaf and cutter allow you to cut as much soap as you may need, and have a fresh bar at any time.
I am simply in love with the soap loaf, it fees so luxurious to be able to slice myself a fresh bar of soap. My daughter was fascinated that this big loaf was soap, she thought it was cheese! She is a funny girl.. must have been because of the cutter and the board?  This soap loaf and board, would make a great housewarming gift, or a teacher gift.

I was recently in Cancun Mexico and I enjoyed quite a few mango daiquiris, and this soap reminds me of the tropical mango that we enjoyed in paradise, relaxing with the soap I can just close my eyes and I am by the pool again. It is amazing what smells can do for you.  The cost of the loaf, the board and the cutter is $22.95 for all the soap that you get with this loaf, that is a pretty good deal.

I was also able to check out a  3 bar set of a new product the ‘scrub’ bar set. These ‘fruity’ fragranced bars include real sea salt as an exfoliate.  the set includes:

Sea Scrub

These bars contain a generous amount of sea salt, as well as a special blend of high quality vegetable, palm and coconut oils combined with all natural seaweed and oatmeal.
Island Citrus

This tropical blend is a sweet combination of citrus fragrances that will waken the senses with that morning shower.
Raspberry

This lovely bar is enriched with  Raspberries to invigorate the skin much like a raspberry does to the taste buds.
All natural ingredients also include: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Soybean Oil, Hemp Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Water.

My skin tends to get very dry especially during the winter months it is so cold here in the Northeast, and I need a way to get rid of the dry dead skin so my skin especially my elbows and knees can be soft again.  The soap, was a little coarse, well because of the salt.. But it was not rough, I felt like a visit to the spa, I was able to exfoliate my skin and my skin felt more smooth and fresh after use. I loved the Raspberry smell, it was so authentic it smelled delicious (but make sure not to eat it…). The trio retails for $12.99.

I love that all of the soap that The YesterYear Soap Company sells contains, NO Preservatives, NO Animal Products, NO Petroleum Products,  NO Parabens, NO Lauryl Sulfate. If you love natural items, and you are a soap lover, a person that truly appreciates great smelling soap The YesterYear Soap Company is a place you will love. PLUS you can get 3 FREE samples with each purchase!  A great way to try some new scents.  And they offer free shipping with orders over $30.00 a great reason to stock up of the soap.
