Great items to Spring Into Summer #MomMixer

I was very fortunate to be able to attend the Social Mom Spring mixer this past weekend. It was a great time to catch up with friends, meet new friends, and of course check out some great new products that will be hot this spring/summer season! Spring Into Summer event in Philadelphia, co-hosted by Colleen Padilla and Whitney Wingerd This wonderful event was held at the Hyatt at the Bellevue in Philadelphia. What a lovely location  This was a great event were media moms throughout the local area could come together and get ready for the summer in style.  This even was full of great sponsors that will be great for your summer/spring wardrobe.
I had a great time stopping and chatting with each of the sponsors, what a great group of people. There were so many items that I just loved so where to start? Well let me start with one of my favorite items from the event Lee (@leejeans). Lee had an amazing amount of jeans for us to try out. From bold colors to bright prints.
I went with a more subtle dark denim. I tried on two different type of Lee jeans, and I have to say I am very impressed. I never thought of Lee jeans as being a designer denim, but this show has changed how I thought of Lee Jeans. The jeans were very flattering and I loved the way they looked on me. And guess what the Lee short jeans, were indeed that short! I have the hardest time finding jeans that do not have to be hemmed, and the Lee jeans I tried on, did not have to be hemmed and fit me wonderfully! I would highly recommend Lee jeans, I found my fit, make sure to check out Lee to find yours. Here is a great coupon code for Lee save and extra 10% off current discounts & get  Free Shipping on your Lee.com Order Make sure to enter code MIXER10 valid 5/13/13.
Are you ready for swimsuit season? Yes swimsuit season.. it is almost here!!! Land’s End (@LandsEnd) was there to help us find what suits would fit our body types the best. Did you ever think of layering a swimsuit for a better fit… I can’t say I have ever thought of that, that is a wonderful idea.  They gave us some great tips to shape and enhance your look with a swimsuit. Make sure to check out the Land End site for some great hints, and don’t be afraid to go swimsuit shopping this year, Land End is there is help your body look its best in a swimsuit.  I was very fortunate to have won a $100 certificate at the show, yay! I cannot wait to spend my certificate, and I will be sure to let you all know what I pick.
If you are a yogurt fan you are going to love Koru (@korudairy) Koru Yoghurt is divine, yes they spell it a little different. To me this was like a delicious Greek yogurt, with a little tang. There were many flavors to try, I went with the passion fruit, it was sweet and tart. I loved it, and I will be purchasing this in the future.  I will have to try the pomegranate cherry next.

Neutrogena, we were able to try out some samples of the sunblock, spf 70. This would be great for my daughter who tends to burn, this would really protect her delicate skin. If you are looking for a great sunblock make sure to check out Neutrogena.

If you have troublesome skin CLEAN & CLEAR (#cleanandclear) is there is help you get better looking skin. As a part of our goody bag, I got a great face cleanser from CLEAN & CLEAR, I can’t wait to check it out, I have always loved CLEAN & CLEAR in the past.

Thirsty? Thirsty, for a great drink and to help stop childhood cancer? Well Alex’s Lemonade StandFoundation (@AlexsLemonade) is trying to do just this. We were able to try out some lemonade and chat about the foundation. This is such a great cause and I have the highest respect for this organization.

Johnson’s Baby Cares is part of  Johnson’s & Johnson’s Charitable Initiative.  For every card made at the event Johnson’s donated $1 to Save the Children.  I made a card that was going to be shared with a new mom.

We have always been fans of McDonalds, and getting to meet representatives and to be able to chat with them was a great thing for me. McDonald’s of the Greater Philadelphia Region (@McDPhilly). I am amazed at how many fresh ingredients that are in  McDonalds foods. Fresh eggs, fresh tomatoes and so many other assorted veggies. I was able to try out one of the newest wraps from McDonalds, the wraps are filled with crisp lettuce juicy tomatoes cucumber, and more. The wrap was filling and delicious.

QVC & Send theTrend (@QVC @sendthetrend) this seems like it was the most popular table at the show, I was able to glace at this table there were so many great fashionable items that looked so cute! Unfortunately I was not able to get chatting with the gals from QVC, but I will be sure to check out QVC and Send The Trend for some more great information

I would like to thank the sponsors, this was a wonderful event, and I hope you get to check out some of the great items above. Thanks for the chance to go to this great event, it turned out great, thanks for all of your hard work!
