Upere Wedge Sneakers Review

What is the hottest new trend with sneakers? Well wedge sneakers are just the fashion statement you have been looking for! And a company that has a wonderful selection of wedge sneakers is Upere.

Upere is a new fashion brand established in 2012. It is mainly specialized in producing high-end and trendy wedge sneakers and wedge shoes for women. Upere draws upon its distinctive blend of experience, inspiration and knowledge in order to make a great achievement in footwear industry.

I am not a tall girl at all, I stand only 5’2” and that is being generous (I am about 5’1” ½) and to make me feel taller I love to wear heals. But heals are not always great for my feet.. my poor feet crave something more comfortable. Sure sneakers are comfortable but they are not that stylish and tend to look dumpy. But not anymore, did you know that the latest fashion trend are wedge sneakers? Wedge sneakers are sneakers with a heal, more dressed up sneakers that look so cool.

So when I was contacted and asked to try out these amazing looking shoes I was so excited and I jumped at the chance.  But what to choose? There are so very many styles on the site, from red to bright blue! As a more conservative kind of gal I went for the black velour, it has a bit of flash (the velour) but the black is versatile and goes with just about everything.

As soon as the shoes arrived I could not wait to try them on… Would they really be as comfortable as a pair of sneakers? Or would they be uncomfortable like most heals are? Well I am happy to say the shoes fit like a glove. The Upere sneakers were very comfortable and I felt like I could walk all day in them. The sneakers made me feel tall and majestic without sacrificing my comfort.

The shoes have a 2 inch wedge heel and a rubber anti-slip soles.  The shoes close with a hidden Velcro closures that you can adjust to your size. So if you have a wider foot you can adjust the shoes to fit just the way you would like them too.

I paired the Upere shoes with a skinny pair of jeans, and they looked great. I was able to wear the shoes to the mall, and I got quite a few complements on the shoes they seemed to be very popular with the mall shoppers.  The shoes are so versatile that they would work with jeans, or you can go with a funky look and pair them with a cute dress.
