Hasbro’s brand-new game Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods #Giveaway

We are huge Star Wars fans and Angry Bird fans.  So when we were looking for a fun new game for family game night, Hasbro’s brand-new game Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods was a game that was right up our alley. The game is a mix of virtual fun and physical board game fun. Here is a little more information about Hasbro’s Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods game, from the website:
ANGRY BIRDS TM STAR WARS® TELEPODS TM VEHICLE PACKS (Approximate Retail Price: $19.99; Ages: 5 & up; Available Now) Stack these structures to recreate iconic ANGRY BIRDS STAR WARS scenes, place your Rebel Bird in the vehicle, pull back and send him launching off the ramp to defeat the evil Pig Empire with an epic crash! Each set comes with two figures – one of which is exclusive.  And, for the first time ever, you can teleport every figure into the new ANGRY BIRDS STAR WARS II app using the included TELEPODS base.  Choose from ENDOR CHASE, and DEATH STAR TRENCH RUN. Each sold separately. Check starwars.hasbro.com for app release date and TELEPODS smart device compatibility.

ANGRY BIRDSTM STAR WARS® TELEPODSTM FIGURE PACK(Approximate Retail Price: $5.99; Ages: 5 & up; Available Now)The perfect way to start building your collection of Rebel Birds and Imperial Pigs! This pack features two figures which, for the first time ever, can be teleported into the new ANGRY BIRDS STAR WARS II app using the included TELEPODS base.  Check starwars.hasbro.com for app release date and TELEPODS smart device compatibility.

The Angry Birds Star Wars app comes to life! This line of Hasbro toys captures all the launching and destroying fun of the app in physical form and features your favorite Star Wars characters re-imagined as high-flying Angry Birds and villainous pigs! You can stack, launch and re-enact Star Wars adventures with the blocks, figures and launcher in the Endor Chase set.
Put your Luke Skywalker Bird (Endor Gear) figure in the Speeder Bike launcher and pull it back on the ramp to launch it at the blocks. Can you topple your exclusive Biker Scout Pig figure? Knock his block off, then set it all up and destroy it again! Set includes 1 Speeder Bike launcher, 2 figures, 1 Telepods base, 1 ramp, 6 blocks and instructions. Ages 5 and up.

From his Star Wars tattooed arms to his Star Wars vanity license plate my husband is consumed with Star Wars. So when we received Star Wars Angry Birds Telepods he and our daughter were both excited to get to play Angry Birds without using a phone or tablet.
Star Wars Angry Birds is a fun game that both my kids (husband and daughter) play on various platforms and get hours of enjoyment out of it. But playing a game on a phone or a tablet is a singular experience and by actually getting the Telepods game this gave us a chance as a family to play a game together and we really did have a good time sitting around the kitchen table setting up the Endor Chase Set in that set you receive a Luke Skywalker bird in his Endor gear, a Biker Scout bird a launcher a ramp and blocks to set up and knock down. Simply put you launch the bird up the ramp and have to knock down the other birds this game works the same as the game on your smart devices.

My husband had purchased a few blind pack Star Wars Angry Birds a while ago and he brought them up to add to the fun and fun was had by all of us for a few hours. We each took turns setting everything up and we went by the book the first few turns and then as the game wore on we got a little more creative and made things a little and a lot more challenging. The best thing about the Star Wars Angry Birds game is that you're only limited by your imagination. Do whatever you want to make it as easy or as challenging as you can but I will let you know that no matter what you will have a great time playing a cool game with your family.
So if you are looking for a family fun game that perfectly melds the virtual fun of Angry Birds (and who does not love Angry Birds, that game can be addicting) and Star Wars, this new Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods game is the game for you. With the holidays right around the corner, this would make a great gift idea for the game lover on your holiday gift list this year.
