 Our Take:

My family had a little get together to watch the Eagles game last Sunday. We live near the stadiums, so if there is a home game (or not) we are usually having some type of party  while we are watching the game. We usually go with the basic Philly items, from cheese steaks, to hoagies to Stromboli. For this party I wanted to shake it up a bit and make something different, but still fun to eat. Early Sunday morning, I tossed all of the ingredients and followed the recipe above and let it cook in the slow cooker.

I was able to clean, and prepare for the party without worrying about preparing the food, it was a real time saver for me. Before I knew it, the house was filled with the great scent of the cooking meatballs, you could smell the chili sauce and the cranberries throughout the house.

And before I knew it the meatballs were ready to eat. The meatballs were large and delicious. The sauce, which I initially thought was a bit of an odd pairing… was amazing! My guests were very happy and chowed down on the Ultimate Meatballs, they loved them as well. My husband loved the sweet flavor of the meatballs, he is not a real sweet fan so this was a great treat for him. Overall we loved this recipe, and the quality ingredients. I will be making this great dish again, for our next family event, this will be a classic I will go back to again and again.
