Holiday Gift Guide: Air Hogs high flying fun, that is a must for your holiday gift list #Giveaway

Are you looking for a great gift idea for those thrill seeking kids on your holiday gift list this year? How about some endless hours of high flying fun from Air Hogs? Well I have a great suggestion for you all, there are two great new Air Hogs radio controlled toys that kids are going to love! Here is a little more information about Air Hogs from the website:

Air Hogs - Pushing the limits of fun, excitement and innovation in R/C! As the leader in R/C, Air Hogs has pushed the limits of fun, excitement and innovation since 1998. Our planes, helicopters, and ground vehicles have revolutionized the world of R/C technology and continue to surprise and thrill kids and adults of all ages.

Sounds cool doesn’t it? Well we were very fortunate to be able to check out two great items from Air Hogs including:

Air Hogs AtmoSphere™    - Soar to new heights with the Air Hogs AtmoSphere! This powerful levitating sphere requires no remote control and hovers above any surface! Control it with the palm of your hand or watch it fly autonomously in any space! Its spherical shape allows the AtmoSphere™ to smoothly bounce off walls and ceilings for non-stop flight. Complete with a palm-sized charging cradle, the AtmoSphere™ is easy-to-use and recharge. Take control with the palm of your hand and discover the high-tech hovering power of the Air Hogs AtmoSphere!  Age: 8+  Suggested retail price: $24.99

Air Hogs Elite Helix X4The Air Hogs Elite Helix X4 is a high-performance R/C quad-copter heli. Utilizing 2.4GHz radio control, gyro stabilization, and 4-ducted fans the Helix X4 is aggressively maneuverable and incredibly fast! The Helix X4 features incredibly crash-resistant materials protecting the rotors and delivering superior durability. It’s full 4-channel control enables the Helix X4 to easily outfly any obstacle. Air Hogs brings you the future of flight with the Elite Helix X4!  Age: 12+  Suggested retail price: $89.99

I hear all the time from my husband that we grew up with the best toys, and when I say we, I mean people in their middle to late thirties. Our toys were great and are now highly collectible but I can't help but be a little jealous of my daughter's generation because they have toys such as Air Hogs. The Air Hogs AtmoSphere and Elite Helix X4 to be exact.

When we were kids if we wanted a toy to fly we had to throw it! Or if you were one of those lucky kids who had a remote control plane or helicopter you also had to be in the junior version of Mensa just to be able to operate it and even still the possibility of losing a finger was great. The Air Hogs give you the enjoyment of flying a toy without the requirement of a Ph.D! These hogs are great and truth be told adults will have just as much fun with them as their kids will, and I'd bet a lot of parents will hear from their kids is it my turn yet?

The AtmoSphere flies without the use of a remote control it hovers over any surface and you can control it with the palm of your hand or just let it hover and do its own thing. The spherical shape allow the AtmoSphere to bounce off of walls and ceilings and that's what allows it to have continuous flight. The Elite Helix X4 on the other hand is a remote controlled ruler of the skies.

With its 4 ducted fans the Helix can do things the AtmoSpere can't like barrel rolls, a 180 flip and a back flip! This is a seriously cool toy and doesn't require all that much work to get it off the ground and the learning curve for this toy is relatively small. If you're looking for the WOW gift this holiday season look no further than Air Hogs, your kid and well you will receive countless hours of fun from these fantastic toys.
Another great thing about the Air Hogs Elite Helix X4, is this was a “Wal-Mart Top 20 Chosen by Kids” so you know a lot of kids loved it. So if you are looking for a for kids in an age range that is hard to buy for (in my opinion this age range is tough to shop for, I just have such issues finding what some kids would like at this age) ages 8-12 (and of course it is good for big kids like my husband as well) the Air Hogs is a great gift idea. This is a gift that special someone on your holiday gift list will love, and I am sure you will have a blast playing with them with these fun toys as well.

The generous folks at Air Hogs are giving one of Susan’s Disney Family readers a chance to win an Air Hogs Elite Helix X4 a $90.00 ARV. Would you like to win?
