This Kohl's Cares Peanuts classic gift set is a great way to gather the whole family during the holiday season. Includes 2 books: "Happiness is a Warm Puppy" &"Christmas is Together Time"

I love sharing things with my daughter that were important to me growing up, I love to be able to pass on a tradition to her that she'll hopefully pass on to her kids someday (many, many, many, many years away....) As a child I absolutely loved watching the Peanuts holiday specials like the Great Pumpkin and the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and my all time favorite A Charlie Brown Christmas. Watching those cartoons brings me back to my childhood and I get that nostalgic feeling. I love Peanuts and I was happy to get a whole bunch of Peanuts holiday items.
This holiday season Kohl's is giving 100% of the proceeds raised by the sale of $5.00 Charlie Brown plush dolls and Peanuts storybooks to benefit children's health and education initiatives nationwide. I love the plush dolls and when the time comes to decorate for Christmas I have the perfect spot for them. A few years ago my husband surprised me by getting me a replica of the Christmas tree from the Charlie Brown Christmas, the pathetic little saggy tree with the ornament that's a tad too heavy for it. I love that tree and the dolls will look great sitting around the tree.

Along with the dolls we received the Sohl's Cares Peanuts classic book gift set. We loved the cute little storys. I will have to pick up a copy of the Cd for my hubby for the holidays. My husband is a Christmas music devotee, he takes his Christmas music seriously and has quite a collection of CD's and he would adore this set especially since the CD and that the CD sleeve folds into Snoopy's doghouse and comes complete with character cut-outs he was all over it. And to top it off we received Peanuts Holiday DVD 3-pack (It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and A Charlie Brown Christmas.)

I can watch all 3 shows whenever I want now! Loaded with additional content and bonus material and fully remastered these shows look clean and crisp and will now be available to watch whenever I'm in the mood.

From Lucy pulling the ball away from Chuck, to Linus' blanket, to Schroeder's little piano to the Wah-Wah-Wah speak of the adult's and Snoopy turning into the Red Baron, Peanuts is something that my parents passed along to me and now I'm passing along my love of Snoopy, Woodstock, Charlie Brown and Pig-Pen (I love his dust trails!) along to my daughter. It's something the whole family can sit around and watch and enjoy, Peanuts transcends time and is ageless and I'm happy to share this with my daughter.
