Vintage Italia Pasta Chips…. Chips from pasta? They are amazing! #Giveaway

Are you looking for a new snack that is crunchy, unique and delicious? Well you are going to love Vintage Italia Pasta Chips … Chips from pasta? Intriguing isn’t it? Well these chips are as great as you would think they would be! I would like to introduce you all to Vintage Italia Pasta Chips a crunchy salty treat, you are going to love. Here is a little more information about Vintage Italia Pasta Chips from the website:

Born out of the hills of Tuscany, Pasta Chips were inspired by the gently baked fresh pasta that is drizzled with olive oil and served up in traditional Osterias. The first to recreate this rich, traditional food, Pasta Chips are made with the semolina flour, ancient grains, and Italian herbs that were celebrated over 800 years ago.

Artisanal PastaChips are truly the perfect chip. Whether straight from the bag, dipped, or topped & served, they are a great source of protein, are cholesterol-free, and contain 60% less fat than potato chips and 30% less fat than pita chips. In five delectable flavors inspired by the sauces and tastes of Italy, Marinara, Alfredo, Spicy Tomato Basil, Garlic Olive Oil, and Mediterranean Sea Salt, Pasta Chips are available at major retailers across the nation.

There are five flavors of Vintage Italia Pasta Chips, we were very fortunate to be able to try every flavor, and share some with family and friends. The mouthwatering chip flavors include:

Alfredo - The creamy, buttery flavors of alfredo sauce blend so nicely when parmigiano-reggiano is sprinkled in, making a decadent flavor to pair with the crunchiness of Pasta Chips.  I am a huge fan of Alfredo pasta, there is just something about the buttery richness that is such a comfort food. The alfredo flavor works well in a chip, it has a slight creamy taste and nice salty flavor.  These were my favorite, just a different chip that I will be sure to pick up more of in the future.

Marinara- Marinara sauce brings the classic flavors of Italy into one reminiscent taste. Everyone has a secret family marinara recipe that was passed down in the family, and we've included ours on these chips! As soon as the marinara chips were open my daughter was all over this bag, she was drawn in by the scent of what she thought was spaghetti… We loved the tomato sauce flavor(or gravy… whatever you prefer) this was a favorite of ours.

Sea Salt -Puglia is located at the heel of the “boot” and this is where the largest salt flat in Europe is located. Simply seasoning with sea salt makes it easy for you to pair with your favorite dip! This flavor had a great salty flavor, a nice kick this would work well with anything you would use with classic potato chips. We used this with our favorite onion dip, and the crunch and salty flavor worked very well.
Spicy Tomato Herb- Being located at the tip of the “boot”, it’s no wonder Calabria decided to add a little “kick” to the classic marinara flavor. Spice up your day with some arrabiata inspired chips! Do you like it hot? Well these are the chips for you. My husband is a lover of everything hot, from spicy entrees to spicy desserts, the spicier the better so of course he had to try the Spicy Tomato Herb pasta chips first. He liked the subtle spice.. I am not as big of a fan of spicy chips, but these had a nice spice, not so much that you could not enjoy the chip. This is great for folks looking for a kick in their chips!

Garlic Olive Oil- Garlic and olive oil are the ultimate romantic duo; letting garlic simmer in olive oil creates a delicious aroma that wafts throughout the kitchen. Go ahead, open the bag and let the memories flow. These chips had a nice bold garlic flavor, I shared this bag with my co-workers, and they polished of the bag in only a few minutes.. Now mind you, the bags are a nice sized bag filled with lots of chips, they loved them so much this was gone and they were looking for more.

Overall my family and friends were big fans of these chips, they are unique and flavorful. There are so many chips out there these days, all sorts of flavors.. But wouldn’t you like to try chips that are different, delicious and 60% less fat than classic potato chips? Great tasting and better for you, that is a combination that cannot be beat.  So if you are shopping for a bag or two of salty chips you are craving I would highly recommend picking up Vintage Italia Pasta Chips, I am sure your family will love them as much as ours did.
