It's the summer and I've been trying to stay ahead of the eventual “I'm bored” that I expect to hear from my daughter. I've been trying to find things to keep her busy and occupied and not give her a reason to get be and or get bored. Something she's been into for a few years now is the game Plants vs. Zombies, she has the game pretty much on every platform and really loves this game. She also loves to build things and be creative and now thanks to K'nex she is able to combine two things she loves and thankfully I won't hear I'm bored for a while.

Plants vs. Zombies Wild West Skirmish Set is a 219 piece play set that kids ages 5 and up can put together and actually play a live version of Plants vs. Zombies! It took my daughter a little over a half an hour to build the set she followed the instructions and before we knew it we were taking target practice knocking down cowboy and prospector zombies with the peashooter. She really enjoyed building the set and she's having more fun setting up challenges for target practice.

It's a stand alone game or a game that many people can play and one of the nice things is that you can combine all of the other K'nex Plants vs. Zombies sets and make a huge set! The possibilities are endless with a set like this it's a game that has a high replay value and like I said you can add zombies and more backgrounds with other building sets. This is the perfect toy to fight off those summer doldrums that kids can get, it's a creative toy that provides hours of entertainment for kids of all ages.
