After school family fun with Habsro games #Hasbro

Now that school is in full swing we're back to the homework grind....and once my daughter is finished and we've eaten dinner she looks at us to do something. She loves spending time with us and playing games but since my husband broke his wrist a few weeks ago he hasn't been able to play video games with her and we've moved to something else and in my opinion far better for all of us board games!

Hasbro has a host of great games for all ages that will provide countless hours of fun for all even those of us with broken wrists. Our game time is something we use as a way to get our daughter to do her homework without complaining and it's gotten to the point where she comes home and just starts doing it without being told to do it.

Once dinner is finished we let her pick the game she wants to play and right now she's been on a Monopoly kick and the Monopoly we have is something rather cool and very creative.

My Monopoly Game - It's the fast-trading property game of Monopoly with your own customization! This My Monopoly game includes blank tiles and stickers so you can make it your own. You can print out the stickers to personalize your tokens, properties, and even Chance and Community Chest cards! But you can play without customizing, too. Just move around the board buying as many properties (Streets, Railroads, and Utilities) as you can. The more you own, the more rent you'll get. If you're the last player with any money when all other players have gone bankrupt, you win!

My Monopoly allows you to customize your game to the point that you can add your pictures to the board and to the property tiles, community chest and chance cards. It's so cool to be able to personalize your game to your family and that just makes spending time together that much more fun. With the included sticker sheets you can simply print out a set of stickers and add them to the game and if you don't want to no biggie it's still a regular Monopoly board.
When we feel like making our daughter use her mind (it's not as easy as it sounds) we play Scrabble but this isn't the Scrabble you grew up with where you needed a pen and paper, this Scrabble keeps score electronically.

Scrabble Electronic Scoring Game - Take your Scrabble game to a whole new level with the electronic scoring of this Scrabble game! You can track scores, time each turn and even speed up the game with the timer. Keep track of multiple players’ scores and high scores and concentrate on winning with this awesome electronic version of Scrabble! Includes game board, 100 letter tiles, 4 tile racks, 1 letter bag and electronic unit.

You can track you scores, time each turn and leave the math out of it because Scrabble is a word game! And Scrabble in our house gets very competitive and crazy sometimes but it's all fun and my husband has declared himself king of the 3 letter words. It's a game we love because it's not only fun to play but it's helping our daughter use all those vocabulary words she's learning in school and not only helping her to use them and know what they mean but she's also working on how to spell them all correctly.

It's a nice sneaky way to teach a kid a lesson while having family fun after school. Family time is important to us and thanks to Hasbro it's a lot more fun now!

You can purchase the Scrabble Electronic Scoring Game and the My Monopoly Game at the Hasbro toy shop.

Would you like to try out these games for your next family game night?

My family loves scrabble. We have yet to play Monopoly with the kids, but I'm sure we will have a blast when we do.

We love Hasbro games. My girls are just now really getting into playing games. They like to play them in the garage with the neighbors! We just bought Connect 4 for her birthday!

The automatic scoring in Scrabble would make the game so much more tolerable. No questioning whether the wife was cheating on her words or not!

We were a game playing family, whether it was board games, card games or video games. I love the old school games like monopoly, scrabble, and yachtzee.

I remember these from when I was a kid, the boxes almost don't look a thing the same, but the game played somewhat the same.

Hasbro makes the best board games! I have like 3 versions of Monopoly; 2 are just bonus editions of the basic game, but my favorite is The Nightmare Before Christmas edition! :3
