My daughter takes after her mom, she just loves a good scare. I was very fortunate to be able to check out some of the newest episodes of R.L. STINE’S THE HAUNTING HOUR: THE SERIES a preview of season 4. My daughter and I had a nice mommy and daughter TV night. We bought some candy and popped some popcorn shut off the lights and began the scare fest! Now if some of you are not aware of R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour:

The Series, it is kid friendly scary.. it can get a little scary but it is in no way terrifying like adult horror films can be. My daughter and I enjoyed the shows. The first episode, “I'm not Martin” . What would happen if you had your tonsils removed at a cursed hospital? Well creepy things of course! These shows are creepy but not horrifying. I would still recommend these shows for ages 8 and up, any younger I think it would be a little to creepy for them, and I would not want the little ones to have nightmares.

The shows arrive on The HUB Network on 10/4/14 at 4Pm ET, 1PM PT
