Check out this cool Strawberry Shortcake app, sweepstakes and fun Twitter party on 10/9/14 #BudgeParty

This is a sponsored post, all opinions are 100% my own.

I grew up with Strawberry Shortcake, she was one of my favorite characters. I had the dolls, the bed sheets and even a little table set.  I was very fortunate to be able to visit the Strawberry Shortcake convention in Cleveland to meet some other fans like myself. My daughter is a big fan of Strawberry Shortcake, she takes after her mom.
Is your little girl a fan of Strawberry Shortcake, well she is going to be excited to hear that  Budge Studios™, the world’s leading ‘freemium’ kids app company, and  American Greetings Corporation, announced  the release of their latest app, Strawberry Shortcake™ Pocket Lockets.

This fun new app invites children to join Strawberry Shortcake™ and her berry best friends for a jewelry-making party, creating and personalizing virtual friendship necklaces.  My daughter loved checking out this app, she was able to make necklaces and have fun taking selfie pictures that she could add to her necklaces.

One aspect (besides this being a Strawberry Shortcake app) that I love is that this is a FREE app! It is free to play! If you would like the more expanded version, the cost is $9.99 still affordable!

About the app: Strawberry Shortcake Pocket Lockets app allows you to:

  • Choose fun and fruity beads, chains and lockets in a variety of shapes and colors
  • Drag and place beads onto your necklace to create cool patterns and spell out your name
  • Take your berry own photo to use in the locket, or use a picture of Strawberry and her friends
  • Try on your necklace by taking a selfie, or make one for a friend
  • Unlock surprise beads and pendants by creating more necklaces

Strawberry Shortcake Pocket Lockets is now available for free with in-app purchases on the App Store for iPhone®, iPad®, and iPod® touch.  The Android version is coming soon.

I have all boys, so there is no Strawberry Shortcake stuff in our house, but I used to LOVE SS when I was a little girl. I had the coolest Strawberry Shortcake roller skates!

My daughters weren't really big Strawberry Shortcake fans but I was. I'm now 43 but can still remember my Strawberry Shortcake dolls and books. I loved how they were all scented.
