Looking for a romantic date night? Be sure to check out, the new DVD The Best of Me #BestOfValentine

Could you use a nice break from the hustle and bustle of life, a time to just sit back and enjoy the company of your significant other? Sure sometimes getting a sitter and going out on a date night can be all but impossible sometimes, but that does not mean that you can not have a nice romantic date night at home... Being a working mom can be tough and exhausting, and I fall into the line of never having the time for a date night with my husband. I know that I have to make the time, and this past weekend my husband and I had a lovely at home date night. Our date night was filled with wine, candles and an amazing movie based on the Nicolas Sparks novel, The Best of Me.

With the right movie, even a pizza date night can be very romantic. The Best of Me, was a wonderful book about love and loss… What would it be like to live a life, then have it changed all around after a high school reunion.. Could you really go home again? Back to another love? Well you find out in The Best of Me.  This went from a wonderful book to an amazing movie starring James Marsden and Michelle Monaghan.

I connected with this heart felt story, my husband and I met in high school, and met again later in life. I just loved the movie, I felt it was just as great as the book. My husband who is usually an action and adventure movie kind of guy, also liked the movie, of course he had to keep asking where Jean Grey was.... Ha Ha... (he joked because he kept referring to James Marsden as his Xmen character Cyclops) ....

Based on the #1 New York Times Best Seller from celebrated author Nicholas Sparks comes this tender, romantic drama about the timeless power of love. When former high school sweethearts Dawson and Amanda (James Marsden and Michelle Monaghan) meet at a loved one's funeral 20 years after tragedy separated them, their love is reignited.
As they recall and relive the past, they come to a deeper understanding about the choices they've made. Also starring Luke Bracey and Liana Liberato, and featuring beautiful scenery along with music by Lady Antebellum, The Best of Me is a powerfully romantic story of love, hope and second chances.

For the Home Entertainment release, the “Tears of Joy” Edition Blu-ray and DVD will include an all-new storyline and “Storybook” Alternate Ending so Amanda and Dawson finally get that second chance at love.

Are you excited to see this movie? Well here is something to get you even more excited, check out this great The Best of Me movie trailer.

Looks like a great date night movie! My husband suggested we watch Gone Girl for a date night movie last week, so clearly he doesn't know the plot of that movie! I like this idea much better.

I haven't heard of this film but it certainly sounds like a great date night or girls night movie. I especially like that their story is one of reconnecting with lost love.
