New baking and transforming fun from Hasbro ! #PlayLikeHasbro

We love to share parts of our childhood with our daughter. She has been exposed to all kinds of toys from the 80’s and earlier because that’s when we grew up and we wanted to share our love of Hasbro toys we had growing up as kids with her.
The Easy-Bake Oven is something that has been around for a long time, it’s a toy that my mother shared with me when I was a little girl and it’s now something I share with my daughter. This is a generational toy, it’s a rite of passage toy that’s usually passed down from generation to generation. It’s a fun toy that even though I’m old enough to bake with an actual oven baking up tasty treats in the Easy-Bake never gets old.

Easy Bake Ultimate Oven Baking Star Edition- The Baking Star Edition of the Easy-Bake Ultimate Oven lets kids feel like baking stars when they make scrumptious treats for family and friends. This updated version of the classic toy oven looks truly modern in sleek white, with sparkly gold, pink, purple, and periwinkle accents for a fresh look. The oven comes complete with everything young bakers need to make mini Sparkle Cakes -- delectable frosted brownies topped with rainbow sugar sprinkles! Includes oven, baking pan, pan tool, chocolate brownie mix, vanilla frosting mix, rainbow sugar crystals, and instructions. $54.99.
• Bake sweet and savory treats for friends and family
• Includes everything kids need to bake delicious mini Sparkle Cakes
• Electric baking -- no light bulb required
• Kids can feel like a baking star
• Works with any Easy-Bake Ultimate Oven refills (sold separately)
Ages 8 and up

Now that my daughter is a tween she’s more sophisticated (at least that’s what she wants everyone to believe) so the new Easy-Bake Ultimate Oven Baking Star Edition is made with her and other too cool for school tweens in mind. It’s still the same awesome oven its always been, but it’s done in an over with a little more modern styling that appeals to kids in this age bracket. Cake pops, whoopie pies, pizza and pretzels are just a few of the tasty treats that you’ll get to bake and unleash your inner culinary genius. I’m glad to see such a great toy has been spruced up and modernized to attract today’s kids.
My husband growing up in the 80’s is a big fan of the Transformers and he’s passed on that love to our daughter. They debuted when he was about our daughter’s age and it’s something he’s never let go of. In fact, he still has his original Transformers lined up on a shelf in his cave. Something he never had is the Robots In Disguise Bumblebee. Bumblebee is 19 inches tall! He’s huge! With sounds and lights and being able to transform in 3 steps makes him super easy for any kid to play with.

Transformers Robots in Disguise Super Bumblebee Figure- Something! This high-tech Super Bumblebee figure is a fast-moving Autobot with the cunning to outwit and the speed to outmaneuver his Decepticon enemies. His lights flash as he says things like “Time to bring the zoom and lower the boom!” He converts in just 3 steps from fierce robot mode to fast-moving sports car mode, and he’s got the speed and smarts to take on any Decepticon foolish enough to get in his way! Transformers and all related characters are trademarks of Hasbro. $49.99

• Super Bumblebee figure
• Converts in 3 steps
• Lights and sounds
• Ages 6 and up

This older toy comes with a modern twist aw well, if you go and download the Transformers: Robots In Disguise app then scan the shield on Bumblebee you’ll unlock a character or weapons or more! They couldn’t do that when we were growing up! December is creeping up and it’s never too early to think about those little ones (or yourself!) in your life.

My kids got a pink Easy Bake oven last year. We tried to make cakes but I couldn't figure out how to work it! My husband threw the directions out.

My daughter loved playing with her Easy Bake oven when she was younger. I still have her old oven in my basement in case she wants to pass it down one day. They have definitely changed the design over the years to make it more stylish looking.
