Are you ready to relax at the spa then gamble and take in a show? The Mount Airy Lodge has it all!

***This visit was sponsored by the Mount Airy Lodge, I received complementary items and admission for the subject matter contained in this post, all opinions are 100% my own***

Do you ever just want to get away? Away from the normal stresses from everyday life? With our busy lives it may be hard to get away as often as you can, but we really need to make the time for ourselves, time to enjoy life and each other. If you are looking for a great weekend getaway look no further than the Mount Airy Lodge in the Poconos. The Mount Airy Resort has so many things to offer you while staying there, from a world class casino, top flight entertainment, a wonderful spa, a salon, great restaurants an 18 hole golf course, and so much more.
The Mount Airy Casino is famous for our absolutely astonishing giveaways, prizes and winnings. From chances to win $1,000,000 to a new car, Mount Airy always has the most exciting promotions. Between the tournaments and the bonus slot play there was a lot to entice you to gamble and have fun.  While we were there the promotion was a kitchen appliance giveaway (each weekend in April you get a chance to earn a small kitchen appliance, from hand mixers to toasters and more) there were so many people happily walking around with electronic can openers!

See player’s club for further details on all promotions. We’re not big gamblers but we walked away up 42 bucks, and we were there for a while and had a great time! If you are not much of a gambler, don’t worry there is still plenty of fun stuff for you to do on your visit.
Why not relax your stress away with a visit to the Spa at the Mount Airy Lodge. They have all you need to relax and get away from the stress of life, even for just a little while, ahhh it is so worth it. I was able to enjoy the Signature massage, nearly an hour long massage in a quiet and serene room, filled with relaxing smells and a caring masseuse.
Imagine being able to drift off, with the scent of essential oils while having your aching muscles massaged. My masseuse was wonderful, making sure I enjoyed the massage, and being sure to ask if the pressure of the experince was to my liking. After the wonderful massage, I was able to sit and relax in the lunge chairs, enjoy a warm cup of tea and unwind. It was lovely.
Take a visit to the Gypsies Lounge, and get tickets to enjoy the entertainment there each weekend. The lounge is large and luxurious, with a full bar ready for you to have a great time.
As far as entertainment you just never know who will be appearing, from Richard Marx to Sinbad this April to Brett Michaels, in September and The Four Tops coming in November. Just check out the entertainment schedule on the Mount Airy Lodge site, one of your favorite acts may be performing soon?
While we were at the Mount Airy Lodge the ticketed special event, at the Wet Bar (the pool area, complete with a full bar) was a cool “Back in the Day” party to celebrate the upcoming movie. The movie Back in the Day is directed by Paul Borghese. With Alec Baldwin, Michael Madsen, Shannen Doherty, Danny Glover.
In the movie, a young boxer is taken under the wing of a mob boss after his Mother dies and his Father is run out of town for being an abusive alcoholic. In theaters May 20. For this event, actor William Demeo was signing autographs.
With this event, you also got to live the celebrity experience, hang out with some celebrities including the director of Back in the Day,  Paul Borghese. There was photo opportunities and a great live performance by rapper Cold Sholda out of Brooklyn, NY singing the single “Back in the Day”. There are promotions at the Wet Bar and the Gypsy Lounge throughout the year.
Now that you have stayed and played now it is time to eat! Where to eat? Well there is a great selection for all tastes at the Mount Airy Lodge, be sure to stay tuned for a taste of what great eats the Mount Airy Lodge has to offer!

OMG, this is SO awesome! The last time I had any kind of spa expereience was in 1988. I think I am WAY oversue for some pampering. Pennsylvania's not all that fat from here (I am in NY)....I want to start saving my money, I really need some kind of vacation, something just for ME. Thanks for this article, it gives me hope and something to set a goal for! <3

I am definitely ready for a break from the everyday stress. I have a couple more weeks of this semester, then maybe I get a break.

Looking at these clicks made me remember the last time I pampered myself and went to a spa, which is long long ago. This place looks awesome!

I was just driving out that way yesterday. I don't live all that far away but have never been. It sounds wonderful.
