Looking for a great gift for dad this fathers day? Check out the great Samsung phone + Gear VR bundle @BestBuy #GearVR

***The reviewer has been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free***

Father’s Day is fast approaching and every year I have the same issue….what to get my husband for Father’s Day?! He’s the kind of guy who collects a lot of things, but he’s also really hard to shop for,  he’ll usually just buy what he wants himself and that makes it difficult to buy things for him because I don’t know if he’s already purchased one for himself! This year is a little different. He’s a comic guy and high end toy guy but he’s also a guy who loves his gadgets.

The hottest gadget to get this year are Virtual Reality headsets. You know those glasses that hold your phone and make movies come to life? Being that I live with a Samsung fan is seems the choice is easy and that the Samsung Gear VR  is the way to go. I know what you’re thinking, you have to wear that on your head?! Won’t that be heavy and cumbersome? You’d think that but in reality the glasses are only 11 ounces and fit on your head so well that you’ll forget you’re wearing anything once you’re essentially teleported into the movie or show you’re watching.  You’ll need a Samsung Galaxy phone for this particular VR set, and a Bluetooth controller for some games but if your guy is a tech enthusiast this is the gift for him!
This is the way to truly get 3-D movies and games, between Netflix and Oculus Video, and a whole array of game choices you’ll never have the chance to get bored. Buy my husband wears glasses….no worries the Samsung Gear VR fits over most glasses easily. VR or virtual reality, the future is here thanks to glasses like these. What we dreamed about as kids is actually becoming a reality, real 3-D movies, 360 degree views of photos, video games that are lifelike. This is an amazing time we’re living in technology wise and if you live with a tech-head I’m sure they’ll love these.

Get up close and personal with your entertainment without ever having to leave your couch. Stunning visuals, remarkable technology, and a cool design sum up the Samsung Gear VR in a nutshell. Be sure to visit the Gear VR page to learn more!  If you’re looking for that perfect Father’s Day gift head on over to Best Buy where if you lease, or purchase and activate select Samsung smartphones you’ll get a free Samsung Gear VR and $50 of Virtual Reality content! This offer is good from 6/5 to 6/18 so don’t miss out on making dad really happy this Father’s Day.

Will you be checking out Best Buy for some great Father's Day gifts this year?

My husband isn't a big fan of the VR headsets, but I am getting him a new laptop from Best Buy. They have a great selection when it comes to anything electronic.

I can't even believe where technology is taking us. A decade ago, this is what we would have seen in a sci-fi movie. These days, we've got VR and kids are playing entire libraries of console games on their phones.

I don't know much about VR. I know my husband would love to receive this though. He's really into the latest tech stuff.
