IMAX film Flight of the Butterflies coming to Blu-ray on July 12th! Check out the #Giveaway and fun activities!



On July 12 Shout! Factory will release the breathtaking IMAX film Flight of the Butterflies on Blu-ray. It's a natural history epic. It's a compelling detective story. It's scientific adventure at its best. Flight of the Butterflies is an interconnected scientific adventure story that spans not only thousands of miles, but generations.
 It's about the remarkable Monarch butterfly migration, the most incredible migration on Earth, and the determined scientist who spent 40 years trying to discover exactly where the butterflies mysteriously disappeared when they flew south for winter. Here are some fun activities, including a fun coloring sheet and a tutorial on how to plant a butterfly garden!

We live in a part of the country through which Monarch butterflies fly through during migration. The Monarch is definitely my favorite butterfly.

Oh we love the Monarchs and help raise them. Last summer we planted a bunch of milkweed...and found that something was eating the eggs and chrysalis. So we started bringing them inside and we raised them. We released over 100 last year...hoping for 200 this year. I would love to see this movie and see all about their flight to Mexico!
