Star Wars and Marvel have gone to the green with Birds Eye®. Delicious new meals featuring favorite characters! #Giveaway

Parents, do you find it hard to get the kids to eat their vegetables? Do they turn their noses up, and push back the plates of healthy vegetables? Well what if I told you there is a more fun way to get the kids to eat their veggies? Birds Eye® has teamed up with Disney to offer new side dishes featuring your favorite Star Wars and Marvel characters. The vegetables are combined with tasty character-shaped pasta and delicious sauces.
Birds Eye® unlocks the wonder of vegetables and makes them accessible and enjoyable to everyone, every day. Using vegetables picked and frozen at their peak of freshness, Birds Eye® helps Americans make vegetables a meaningful part of everyday life.

Providing a range of tasty and exciting solutions that make eating vegetables a memorable taste experience, Birds Eye® has something for everyone: with pure and simple vegetables under the Birds Eye®, C&W®, Freshlike® and McKenzie's® brand names; Birds Eye Steamfresh® vegetables and vegetable rich blends; and Birds Eye Voila!® complete frozen meals.

The new Disney offerings by Birds Eye are incredibly tasty and feature such familiar characters as Yoda (pasta & broccoli in white cheese sauce) R2D2 (pasta & green beans in marinara sauce), Spiderman (pasta & broccoli in yellow cheese sauce), and Avengers (whole grain pasta & peas in butter sauce). I'm lucky my daughter will eat just about any vegetable so she was more than willing to give these offerings a chance and she (along with her parents) give these a thumbs up! The sides were yummy and we all enjoyed the flavors and the shapes. With no artificial colors or flavors, and no preservatives these are something I feel good about serving to my family.
It is true not everyone likes everything, but with the Birds Eye® Marvel and Star Wars character offerings this might give kids (and some adults) reason enough to at least try vegetables. How many people are consuming vegetables on a daily basis? Sadly only 28% of American dinners include vegetables. Only 2% of kids in this country meet the fruits and vegetable guidelines.

That's alarming and sad. Vegetables are good and they're good for you! Birds Eye® is doing all they can to help and with the help of some very familiar Disney/Marvel/Star Wars characters, this is a great start to make sure we all eat our vegetables!
The generous folks at Birds Eye are giving one of Susan's Disney Family readers a chance to win a prize pack that includes 4 free item coupons for Birds Eye and Star War and Marvel theme food items - reusable containers, etc. (each pack will vary) Would you like to win? Please let me know who in your family would like to try these new vegetables, and which one would they like to try first? There are also other ways to enter, please enter below.

These would be great for my youngest daughter! She's my picky eater. I would make the whole grain pasta & peas in butter sauce first.
