Do you love breakfast? Plan to have a fun and yummy #BreakfastNight with #Krusteaz #Ad

****I received free product and goodies from Krusteaz and T-Fal to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own****

As a busy working mom I know that putting dinner on the table every night can be stressful, do you feel this way as well? To combat the craziness that sometimes we feel when making dinner after work, I wanted to take the challenge to serve up breakfast for dinner once a week!  A delicious challenge brought to you by Krusteaz makers of premium pancake and waffle mixes.

Krusteaz wants to help by making Wednesdays (or any day you like!) Breakfast Night. Are you excited to make breakfast for dinner? Why not give it a try after all, February is National Hot Breakfast Month (did you even know there was such a month, well there is) celebrate it with some fun family breakfast nights.

My family and I wanted to start off February with a bang and could not wait to have a fun celebration for our first family Breakfast Night. We wondered if we should go with sweet or savory for breakfast? My daughter voted for sweet, and my husband voted for savory and I voted for both! Why can’t we have it all? A little of this a little of that and we all are happy.

We whipped up two easy but delicious breakfast night entrees, Krusteaz Sweet Apple & Vanilla Pancakes and a savory Krusteaz spicy cheddar waffles & egg sandwiches.  The best part of these recipes is that the ingredients are simple, staples that most likely are already in your refrigerator or cabinet. The only thing you have to make sure you stock up on are plenty of Krusteaz mixes so you can have a breakfast night (or day) at any time you feel like it.
Krusteaz Sweet Apple & Vanilla Pancakes
Krusteaz Buttermilk Pancake Mix (prepare following the directions for 2-4)
add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla to mix.

3 of your favorite types of apples
2/3 cup brown sugar
dash of cinnamon
3 pats of butter
Prepare pancakes as directed. To make the topping peel, then thinly slice apples top with cinnamon and sugar, and water saute until the apples become soft.
Krusteaz Spicy Cheddar Waffles & Egg Sandwiches
Krusteaz waffle mix (follow the instructions to make the mix to make 2-4 waffles)
1/2 Cup of cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 teaspoon of salt
3 dashes of hot sauce (or more if you want it spicy)
sunny side up egg for each sandwich
(recipe can be be easily tweaked for larger amounts)
We had fun making great shapes with the pancakes, no matter how old my daughter gets she still gets a kick out of getting her pancakes in shapes, she loves it. The pancakes were sweet, and the topping of the brown sugar apples were just the best. The pancakes cooked evenly and did not stick we loved our T-Fal pan. If you would like to pick up your very own T-Fal pan be sure to stock up with their sale of cookware at Target and where you will save 15% off T-Fal from Feb 27th - March 3rd in honor of Pancake Day! Be sure to save the dates!
My husband enjoyed the spicy kick of the waffle breakfast sandwiches.  Both were super easy to make and very delicious. Serve either, with some fresh fruit and breakfast sausage. It makes a great tasting dinner the family will love.
My family and I had a great time making breakfast together and celebrating Breakfast Night with Krusteaz, so much so that we had to break out the selfie stick to document the fun. Kids grow up so quickly I want to enjoy this great family time while I can. Do you want to celebrate your own Breakfast Night? Be sure to pick up some of your favorite Krusteaz mixes and get creative or just go for the classics, it is up to you there are no rules! It is just breakfast.. err dinner! My family is already planning for our next Breakfast Night, are you ready to plan yours?

I would love to try the pie crust mix - I love homemade pies but don't want all the work of making my own crust, so this should be a good compromise.
