Otis Spunkmeyer has some new amazing sweet treats! Check out the Super Cookies & Strawberry Crème Cakes and your chance to win! #Giveaway

Are you a fan of Otis Spunkmeyer? These amazing baked sweets have been around for many years and they are now as popular as ever. There is are new Super Cookies & Strawberry Crème Cakes. Great treats with no funky ingredients that would be amazing for a lunch box addition or dessert.  If you are not familier with Otis Spunkmeyer here is a little more about them from the website:
Otis Spunkmeyer originated 40 years ago with one goal in mind: make delicious, fresh baked cookies. Today, Otis Spunkmeyer has become the #1 selling foodservice cookie dough in America - and the #1 selling cookie dough in fundraising. At Otis Spunkmeyer, they spend their days baking, experimenting, testing and talking about delicious baked goods. Otis Spunkmeyer’s goal is to keep improving, so they made better treats with ‘No Funky Stuff’, meaning no partially hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup, and artificial colors and flavors.
If you were a child in the 80s or 90s, you probably remember the Super Cookie craze. Those huge cookies that doubled as birthday cakes and could be ordered with pink icing and Happy Birthday greetings on top. Well, thanks to Otis Spunkmeyer (you know those delicious cookies you had in high school), anyone can now #flashback to this trend with its new Super Cookie and enjoy at home. I remember those cookies from high school and my after school job during my high school days. I was the one who got to bake the cookies! They were packed in these large boxes, and they looked amazing even frozen, ahh cookie dough!
I remember this clearly the smell of the chocolate baking, it was amazing. So needless to say when I found out that Otis Spunkmeyer has some fun new products including Super Cookies & Strawberry Crème Cakes I was super excited. Even more excited when I came to learn that Otis Spunkmeyer’s snack treats are not only great tasting but have no funky stuff added to them. Otis Spunkmeyer removed the partially hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup, and artificial colors and flavors you'll find in some other snacks. That is such a great thing, yummy treats without the junk, that is something I can approve of. I was very fortunate to be able to try out a super cookie, a Double Chocolate Super Cookie to be exact.

This cookie was pretty big, it was about the size of my daughter head! Chocolate fans you are going to be in chocolate heaven. The cookie was soft and fresh, with chocolate on the outside and chocolate on the inside. This fun and giant 9-inch “bakeable” cookie, comes in its own oven pan for warming up, and most importantly, is yet another addition to its You can use it as a birthday cake alternative, encourage bakers-to-be to show off their decorating prowess, have a fun snack for sleepovers, and much more.

We tested this fresh from the package and heated up, each was just as yummy. But if you are a brownie fan I would encourage you to heat up this big cookie and serve this warm, with ice cream perhaps that would not hurt right? We all loved the Super Cookie, and look forward to trying other flavors of Super Cookies in the future.

Another new product is the Otis Spunkmeyer Strawberry Crème Cakes, a lighter tasting less rich baked treat. These individually wtrapped strawberry cakes are filled with cream and topped with a sweeter icing.

The smell of the cakes tells you that these are more real than other strawberry cakes you may have had in the past. The smell was a sweet real strawberry smell. It put me in mind of the smell of fresh cut strawberries, it smelled and tasted delicious. These are a great size to tuck into a lunch box or pack in a purse for a quick treat while on the go. I liked that these were small but satisfying.
What do you think of the new products? Are they something your family would like to try? Be sure to check out the Otis Spunkmeyer “No Funky Stuff” retail line = no artificial flavors or partially hydrogenated oils find them at a supermarket near you.
