Pirates fans Captain Jack is back and he is better than ever.. He is the character you know and love and he is ready to visit your home on digital HD! It's crazy to think that back when Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl came out in 2003, I wasn't married yet or a mother....here we are some 14 years later, now I'm both married and a mother to an almost teenager! I didn't know how a movie based on a Disney attraction would do. Let alone one with Johnny Depp as a pirate! It was all odd seeming at first, then we saw the movie and wondered how we lived without it for so long.
We're now 5 movies into this franchise! The latest installment Dead Men Tell No Tales is headed to Digital & 4K UHD 9/19 and 4K UHD/Blu-ray Combo Pack 10/3. I had the chance to walk the carpet and see the premiere of the newest P.O.T.C. movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. It was an experience of a lifetime and now I have even a softer place in my heart for this amazing franchise. I was excited to be able to check this movie out on digital HD.

I love being able to get the movie in my home and on the go on my digital device weeks before the dvd/blu-ray release. This is super easy to get loaded up on your device and before you know if you will be off ready to watch the adventure, and see if dead men tell tales? The movie is filled with action and adventure as you would expect from any Pirates movie. Captain Jack is up to his old shenanigans and is running from the dead again.

I loved the first movie, and I am glad to see that this 5th installment is back to the dark ominous pirates that I enjoy.  I don’t want to spoil it if you have not had the chance to see the movie, but these ghosts are amazingly done. Captain Salizar (creepily played by Javier Bardem) is an amazing addition to the movie, the special effects with this character are, all I can say is wow… Watch the hair, it is like it is “floating” in the water, such a cool effect addition.  What else does the digital movie offer other than an amazingly fun to watch movie? Well of course some great extras! The digital extras include these listed, and more!

Digital Extras:
Bloopers of the Caribbean
Deleted Scenes
The Matador & The Bull: Secrets of Salazar & The Silent Mary with Javier Bardem
Wings Over the Caribbean with Paul McCartney

Overall my family and I loved the movie and we look forward to watching it again and again. Have you had the chance to see Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales? If so what did you think of this movie? Do you think there will be another Pirates movie in the future… Hmm, I think that would be awesome!
