Come and join in on the fun with Hersheypark’s 111th season! New food, new fun and so much more for 2018!


My family and I love to visit Hersheypark, it is something I loved as a child and something that I love sharing with my family now as a mom. I am excited to be a Sweetest Mom Ambassador for Hershey PA this year, I will have so much to share with you all to help celebrate Hersheypark 111th season (that is amazing isn’t it?) from new Boardwalk attractions to cool concerts to yummy food trucks. There is so much to look forward to for Summer 2018 at Hersheypark the fun starts on April 27th, the opening day for the summer season! Here is more information from Hershey: 


Hersheypark amusement park will open for its’ 111th summer season on April 27, with The Boardwalk At Hersheypark water park opening May 26 with two highly anticipated new water attractions. In addition, new food offerings, food truck events and entertainment will delight guests this summer. Two new family water attractions, Breakers Edge Water Coaster and Whitecap Racer, will open May 26 for guests to enjoy in The Boardwalk At Hersheypark. Breakers Edge Water Coaster will be the world’s first HydroMAGNETIC water coaster with flying saucer turns. This 14th coaster will provide splash-filled hills and sweet thrills at Hersheypark. Whitecap Racer will be the world’s longest mat racer. Both rides are family-friendly with a height requirement of a Reese’s category and up (42” and up).  

2018 will feature the introduction of food trucks in Hersheypark. Starting April 27 and running every Friday through May 18, Food Truck Fridays will feature eight food trucks offering a changing variety of food flavors and options. Two Hersheypark food trucks - Sunkissed Beach BBQ and Smiling Taco-ria - will also open later this Summer in Hersheypark to offer guests delicious mobile offerings. Another new food offering in The Boardwalk At Hersheypark is Grilled Cheese Beach Shack, which will offer a variety of choices from classic to tomato basil and more. Lastly, the new 1829 Pavilion and 1829 Patio in Pioneer Frontier will feature a selection of Yuengling Brewery beverages. 

Other new food offerings will include The Swirl, a new dessert location located in Founders Way as the perfect way to start your day or end your night. Building on the popularity of Simply Chocolate, The Swirl will offer brand new creations of the award-winning King Size Shakes, soft serve ice cream and gluten-free desserts. The popular All Day Drink and Dining Plans return for a second summer. All Day Dining Plans offering diverse options at 14 food locations throughout Hersheypark and All Day Drink is accepted at all participating locations, along with an addition of a new ICEE® option.  

Live daily entertainment will continue to be offered this summer at Hersheypark. New entertainment shows include Once Upon... at Chevrolet Music Box Theatre, a new country show called The Good Time located by the 1829 Patio in Pioneer Frontier, a beach themed acapella group called The Waves and a new take on Cocoa Rhythm. In addition to marching bands and daily performances by our seals and sea lions in Our Friends Of The Sea,   no visit to Hersheypark would be complete without meeting our beloved Hershey's Characters! There are also many sweet games to play throughout Hersheypark, including the remodeled Playdome Arcade that now offers more interactive games and prizes for all ages. 

Grab your tickets for the Hersheypark Summer season with the Kids’ Price Offer running April 25 through June 30. This online offer features one day tickets for $44.95 and 2 day tickets for $66.95. A Hersheypark ticket not only includes admission to the Park and to our two new water attractions at The Boardwalk At Hersheypark, but also includes entry to ZooAmerica North American Wildlife Park that is celebrating its’ 40th anniversary. Guests can also use their paid Hersheypark ticket to upgrade to a Season Pass as well.

Last but not least, Hersheypark ticket discounts make coming to a summer concert even sweeter the day before, of and after a concert! Scheduled at Hersheypark Stadium are:

I haven’t visited the Hersheypark, but it would be fun. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to.

I have never been to HersheyPark but I do need to go one day before the grandkids get too big. And for my 16 yr old, lol she would go anytime if it has to do with chocolate! lol
