What is the going rate for the tooth fairy these days?

How much does the tooth fairy give out these days? My daughter just lost her front tooth!

What amount is a fair amount. When I was little I got a quarter. I know that was a long time ago! What amount do you think is the right amount?

It's been a looooong time since the Tooth Fairy visited our house but if I remember right she left $1.00. My kids are teenagers so be warned that it may have gone up with inflation. :)
Have fun....and congrats on the first tooth!!

Following you back from The Freebie Junkie. My son has yet to lose his tooth, but I'd be interested to know the going rate too ; )

Following back!

Tooth fairy? Oi. We're getting close to that stage! Little Lou's 5 1/2...all her kindergarten friends have joined the "missing tooth" club... I don't know. I think when I was little (100 million years ago!) we got $1 for the first tooth and a quarter for each subsequent tooth.

Does the tooth fairy know about inflation??

Hey, thanks for the follow. I am following you back now. Couldn't say what the going rate was today. I was spoiled as a child and got a $5 bill one time!

Hi Susan! Thanks for visiting my blog Mom Always Finds Out on the hop. I'm here to follow back. :)

As for tooth fairy, I usually give out $1 or so per tooth.
