It is time for Phillies Opening day!

On Wednesday 3/30/11 we had the opportunity to sit in a suite at Citizen's Bank Park to watch the Phillies take on the Pirates, it was the last game of the spring in what they like to call the "On Deck" series. I jumped all over the opportunity to go, my husband loves the Phillies and my daughter likes to go anywhere she can ask us to buy her something. The suite was sweet, fully catered and a great view, it was located along the first base line with a great view of the second largest HD scoreboard in all of baseball.

The game itself was meaningless really but we still had a good time even though it was a little too loud for my daughter, she's a tad over sensitive still with loud places and a ballpark is kind of a loud place, and the middle aged woman screaming at Cole Hamels didn't help! He's married, you have no chance... I can get used to sitting in a suite with a private bathroom and food I don't have to pay for! We're used to sitting in the nosebleed's and having to fork over a lot of money for a Phillies frank. We had a choice of hot dogs, sliders, crab cakes, chicken fingers, grilled chicken Caesar salad, little hoagies, soft pretzels and peanuts gotta have peanuts at a ballgame! Drinks including beer were included and after the 7th inning we were treated to cookies and tray of Tastykakes! We had  a good time even though the Phightin's lost, it's a great ballpark with a great atmosphere and we're just glad the winter is over and the boy's of summer are back on the diamond.
