One of the perks about living where we live is that there is a big park only one block away from our house, and my daughter just loves to pester us to take her there so she can play. What we usually do is pack a lunch and have a picnic in the park weather permitting normally I just toss the sandwiches in baggies and off we go. Baggies are expensive and a bit of a waste in my mind, I'm not into throwing out money! I received a Snak Sak (www.snaksaks.etsy.com) which is an eco friendly bag meaning I no longer have to toss out those plastic sandwich bags anymore!
The Snak Sak is a cotton bag that is lined with a waterproof nlyon which is FDA approved and easy to keep clean. At $7.00 a bag it is far better to spend the money on the Snak Sak and stop wasting money on baggies which are expensive, not environmentally friendly and only good for a one time use. And what is better to pack a sandwich in a plastic bag that is hard to close or a bag with Minnie Mouse on it that has a velcro closure? When you close a Snak Sak you know it's closed and it stays that way until you open it. If Minnie isn't your bag.....get it bag? Bad humor:-).... Your choices are plentiful not only will you find Minnie, but Dora, Dr. Seuss characters and just some of the funkiest fabrics around so if you're buying for a boy or girl or yourself you shouldn't have an issue finding something that fits your style. I really like these saks, they're both eco and wallet friendly!
