Holiday Gift Guide: In Bloom by Jonquil Loungewear - Review (And a Giveaway)

Are you looking for a great place to shop for loungewear, pajamas, garters, negligees, bras, panties, and so much more! I would like to introduce you to In Bloom by Jonquil

About In Bloom by Jonquil (from the website)

Inspired by her silent movie actress Great-Aunt and fashion illustrator Grandmother, Diane Samandi began sewing patchwork bikinis in the front window of her San Francisco Victorian in the late 1970's. Diane had always loved old Hollywood glamour and vintage design and with those elements in mind, bikinis soon became dresses, and dresses became exquisite lingerie...

In 1980, Diane founded Jonquil, a romantic lingerie line well known for its lavish laces and intricate detail. A favorite with brides, Jonquil has enjoyed thirty years of success, and is one of the most sought after lines in the lingerie world. Jonquil is sold at Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, and the finest specialty boutiques worldwide.

In 2007, Diane partnered with MGT, a company specializing in the production of molded cup babydolls. Together, Diane and the design team at MGT worked to create In Bloom by Jonquil. Giving the feminine, graceful elements of Jonquil a fresh, flirty flair, they began by incorporating molded cups into Diane's elegant, European designs.
They met with instant success. Since then, this charming line of playwear has evolved to include loungewear and daywear. In Bloom is designed to make a woman feel irresistible and girly, exposing her inner ingnue, and urging her to come on out and play! In Bloom is sold at Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, and specialty boutiques worldwide.

My Review:

Being comfortable is so very important to me, as a working mother I usually spend my days in uncomfortable work clothes.  When I get home from a longs days’ work, and it is time for me to take care of my family I want to be comfortable. I can admit it, I usually run and go put on my sweats. They are pretty old and beat up, not very good looking at all but what can you do I want to be comfortable.

I was lucky enough to be able to review a In Bloom by Jonquil English Lace loungewear set, and now I have a much better option to lounge in comfort without wearing a ratty sweat suit.  When the box arrived the clothes were wrapped nicely in tissue paper, when I took the set out of the box the first thing my husband said was.. That is lounge wear? Really? He was amazed, saying he thought it was an outfit. Yes it is believable that this could be an outfit because it is so well made, and so very stylish.

The set is lightweight and so very silky soft.  I was able to wear the loungewear to just hang around the house, or I just may grab my jacket and run to corner store for some milk one day… Yes I would do that.  I love the light touch of lace that the set has, it has an old time Hollywood feel to it and just makes me feel pretty when I wear it.  The prices on the site are affordable, and they have styles and sizes to fit all kinds of body types.  I would love a lounge wear set as a present (a hint hint for my husband) it is now my favorite thing to wear around the house, those ugly sweats have been retired. Much to my husband’s delight.
