ThinkGeek - Review

Are there any geeks in your life? Do you like cool gadgets and unique items? Well I have found a nirvana for geeks! ThinkGeek! Here is a little information about ThinkGeek from the website:

ThinkGeek started as an idea. A simple idea to create and sell stuff that would appeal to the thousands of people out there who were on the front line and in the trenches as the Internet was forged. ThinkGeek started as a way to serve a market that was passionate about technology, from programmers, engineers, students, lovers of open source, to the masses that helped create the behind-the-scenes Internet culture.

A bunch of monkeys and droids dedicating their lives to make sure you get all the proper doodads, gadgets, and gizmos to ensure proper living.

There are so very many great items on the ThinkGeek site:

Yoda USB Desk protector

 iCADE - iPad Arcade Cabinet

 Super Deluxe Mario R/C Cars

We were very lucky to be able to review a Lego Star Warsfigure clock in Boba Fett

 My Review:

As you all know I'm married to a geek, a Star Wars geek, the geekiest kind of geek that exists. . It's ok he knows it and admits it. From his personalized BOBAFET license plate to his shrine erected to greatest bounty hunter not named Chapman in his cave. So when he found out that we would be able to do a review for ThinkGeek he was all giddy! Talk Star Wars, that immediately makes my husband happy.

When the Lego Boba Fett arrived, my husband was like a kid  Christmas morning. Just so very happy.  The Lego Boba Fett minifig alarm clock is a nice size, and it looks great on the shelf in my hubby’s man cave.  I love it because it is cool, and functional. Being a useful clock is great. One could never have too many clocks in my opinion.

I have to say I was impressed with the packaging, this was packed very well and arrived quickly.  With my daughter’s birthday coming up, I will have to pick up some of the great items on the site for her. She is a little geek in training. Even though she is just 7 she is quite the gamer, and she is a pro at Mario Kart, she goes on and on about the game. Talking about the mirror cup, and how she wants to unlock Rosalina… So I will have to pick her us a Mario Kart racer. This will get her out of the bedroom and get outside, but she will still be able to play Mario Kart!

We are Disney geeks and Star Wars geeks. Luckily they go together.

Disney and Star Wars:

Think Geek even offers a 1-888 number where you can call for some great customer service. If you have a question, you can call and talk to a real live person. Wow! That is rare these days to be able to talk to a real person without pressing 1,000 prompts to get one. This is a quality company with top service and great items, you can’t go wrong with ThinkGeek.

Finding something this ultimate Boba Fett fan does not have is kind of tough. But luckily for me I have a bunch of gift ideas now for my hubby! There is such a great selection of unique items, that he has never even thought about!

If you're looking for something different for the geek in your life this is a place to look for a gift.  I know there are a lot of geeks out there,  If you have a geek in your life you have to go to ThinkGeek, or you may be one yourself, don’t worry that is not a bad thing! So make sure to check out ThinkGeek for some great ideas.
