The Doodle Roll - Review (And a Giveaway)

We’re seemingly always on the go and one of the things we have to do is keep our daughter occupied. She goes nuts within the first 5 minutes of being in the car if she doesn’t have anything to do. I try to tell her when I was her age all I had to do in the car was think and come up with things to do, I didn’t have a DS or an iPhone to keep me occupied. I hate seeing her face buried in technology, it’s great that she knows how to use it and what to do but there is no creative outlet there and I want her to use her brain. I have finally found a solution the Doodle Roll . It might look like a roll of toilet paper but it’s a world of thought and expression and it’s easy to transport. 

The Doodle Roll is 30 feet of paper and 4 crayons (8 colors they’re double ended crayons) and it comes in a dispenser that carries everything. You can use as little or as much as the paper you want, the carry case also acts as a way to tear the paper neatly if you only want to use a small amount. It’s a very creative way to store everything and it is very small making it very portable.

With our upcoming trip next month I was hoping to have something other than a DS or movie to keep my daughter occupied, she’s a good flier but she’s still only 7 and we like to keep her mind off of her ears and the plane in general. She loves playing tic-tac-toe and now that she’s getting better with spelling we’ll get to play hangman or we could just unfurl all of the paper and make a masterpiece! Ok I think we’ll stick to the simple games and not drown the cabin in paper!
