Between, children’s clothes – review (and a giveaway)

Are you looking for modest clothing for your little girl that is affordable and stylish? Well I would like to introduce you all to a great website, Between. Here is a little information about the shop from the website:

be{tween} Collection is a pima cotton original line for tween-aged girls sizes 7-14. These girls have graduated from ruffles...or at least the ones they have worn since birth. Created by designer Ashley Eiler, fabric and all, each original garment is designed to complement another piece or be worn on its own. Whimsical yet grown up a bit...incredibly soft...progressive yet meeting the needs of a mother who is hanging on to the sweet memories of matching outfits.

"It is my heart’s desire to design clothing that will bridge the gap be{tween} true children’s clothing & young adults. Each garment is designed to complement another piece or be worn all on its own. Spring 2012 collection will consist of 9 pieces of clothing…each are designed to interlock making many combination possibilities as well as match pieces they may already have in their current wardrobe. Future releases will be designed to work with the previous season in an effort to help build a functional wardrobe that is comfortable, flattering to a sometimes awkward age, and appropriate for their formative years. I would love for each child to be well-dressed, feel beautiful, and together with their parents be taking intentional steps toward becoming a young lady who is decided in who she is.”

My Review:

My daughter is growing up so fast, I can’t believe that she is 7.5 already, where did my little baby go? My little girl is not considered a tween! Wow that is just amazing to me. To me she is still little, and should not dress flashy and grown up, why grow up too soon, you will have the rest of your life to be an adult. No spaghetti  strap dresses that may seem inappropriate for her age on the be{tween} website. My daughter loves to wear dresses and when I had the chance to do a review of Between, my daughter was so excited, and just fell in love with the “Dothe Dress” dress from Between.

My daughter just loves her dress, she would live in it if we let her. She loves it that much. Well it is very soft, like wearing a large t-shirt but so much prettier.  She can wear the dress to camp, as every day wear, and this dress could also be worn to a fancier occasion as well.  The  be{tween}™ collection, a whimsical pima cotton line for girls sizes 7-14.  The collection debuts with nine pieces of clothing ranging in price from $30-$60.  The prices are affordable, and the clothing is very well made. This dress requires no extra care, and as a working mom I appreciate this so much. I have so little time, and having clothing that requires extra attention is a pain. I was able to wash and dry this dress with ease. The dress did not shrink or fade, this is a quality made dress that was made to last.

I love the idea of the company, it is nice to see that there are companies that have modest appropriate wear for little girls, yes tweens are still little girls. I have seen so many kids in my neighborhood grow up (in fashion) to quickly… I want to make sure my daughter is dressing her age, she is not a baby but she is still as kid, and I want her to enjoy and embrace being a kid.  I would highly recommend Between if you are looking for clothing that is just great for tweens, not too little girl looking and not grown up. Between is just in the middle, a little ruffle but, it is not too much. The clothing looks amazing, and I would love to pick up some more for my daughter. She gives this dress an A+++
