The Pittsburgh Soda Company, new additions Energy Drink and Coffee collection review (and a Giveaway)

I received a box at my office for my wife and saw the return address that the box was from Pittsburgh Soda Pop and instantly I got excited thinking my wife went ahead and ordered me a whole case of black cherry syrup! YES!! I called her to tell her she was the best and she stopped me cold and said it’s not soda syrup it’s coffee syrup. It was coffee syrup? Not that sweet nectar black cherry soda syrup? No, it’s not soda syrup it’s a new product and it’s coffee flavored! She was excited…. that made one of us.

I have to be honest with you and tell you I’m not a coffee guy, it’s not a drink I like even with a pound of sugar it’s leaves that sour taste in my mouth that I hate so I avoid it. This is different she told me…. sure it is. It’s coffee! How can coffee be different from itself? She assured me it was different and that I should try it, because if a non-coffee person like myself likes it well I’ll be able to tell everyone how good it is.

Here I sit typing this to let all of you know just how good this stuff is. I’ve gotta admit this is tasty and has none of the bitter after taste of coffee. The only thing I’ll drink coffee wise is frappachino’s and this taste just like the overpriced ones we get from Starbucks. I’m not kidding, I’m not making this up to make it sound better than it is, and I’m being 100% honest this really tastes just the same if not better than what you pay an arm and a leg for.

Right now they have coffee flavor, mocha and hazelnut. Each flavor is fantastic the mocha has a great coffee/chocolate flavor; the hazelnut smells as good as it tastes and it tastes great! Just remember unlike the soda syrup these syrups require no carbonation! Carbonated milk………yikes!

Speaking of carbonation something else I got to kick the tires on was a new energy drink syrup this requires a little carbonation but that little carbonation packs quite an energy wallop!  I’ve had all the brands you can think of from Red Bull to 5 Hour Energy and all the other drinks out there to give you a boost. While they’re all good at what they do they really aren’t cost effective, you get the energy syrup and you can make yourself so many bottles of energy drinks for a fraction of the cost of buying them from a store. And just to let you know the Pittsburgh Soda Pop syrup has all the same ingredients that Red Bull contains and a better taste in my opinion.

Pittsburgh soda is giving one of Susan’s Disney Family readers a chance to win a (1) 20oz bottle of each coffee flavor and (1) 20oz bottle of the energy drink. As a bonus they get a sample 3 pack of the coffee and energy so the winner can "spread the cheer" with your friends and family.
