We were very fortunate to be able to review a great new item, the Honeywell NEW EnergySmart 360 Surround Heater

The Honeywell HZ-430 Surround Heat® Ceramic Heater uses Energy Smart™ technology, which regulates electricity flow based on temperature for precise temperature control and energy savings. Features include:

  • Choose 360° whole-room heat OR 180° personal heat
  • Digital LED lights show current room temperature and desired temperature
  • Energy usage indicator shows amount of energy used
  • High & Low fan speeds
  • Programmable thermostat
  • 1-8 hour auto-off timer
  • Cool-touch handle
  • 360° SafetyTip™ shuts heater off if tipped in any direction

Ceramic heaters heat more quickly than radiant heaters, and use less electricity. Plus, the ceramic body stays at a lower temperature than radiant heaters, making them safer around pets and small children.

My Review:

We have a bit of a conundrum in my house. I’m always cold and my husband is always warm, this poses a problem all year long, if it was up to my husband he’d have the ac pumping all year! He’s nuts, and if I had my way we’d have the ac unit ripped from the back yard and I would never be cold again. Well since I can’t do that I have a solution and if you’re like me this will work for you too.

The Honeywell  EnergySmart 360 Surround Heater Model HZ-435 is the perfect solution. This little gem is going to make my winter a whole lot toastier. No longer will I suffer freezing and having to get bundled up to go to bed, I have the heater right next to my side of the bed and one of the really cool features of this heater is the fact that you can have either 180 or 360 degree heating. I had the heater on the other night when our room was a little too chilly for me and I used the 180 degree function to see how well it worked and it did its job and passed with flying colors. Directional heating is a brilliant feature and operating this heater couldn’t be any simpler.

If you can read you can operate the heater, it’s essentially plug and go and if you need to move the heater while it’s on no worries the handle on the heater is a cool touch handle so no worries of getting singed. The other nice feature is the ceramic technology making the heater run without making a sound, it’s quiet and efficient. There are so many great features packed into this heater programmable thermostat, overheat protection, 1-8 hour timer, tip over protection and it’s energy smart! If you need a little extra warmth this winter the Honeywell  EnergySmart 360 Surround Heater is all you need to keep toasty.

So if you are looking for a great way to warm up this fall/winter why not try out this Honeywell HZ-430 Surround Heat® Ceramic Heater. This wonderful ceramic heater heats more quickly than radiant heaters, and this use less electricity. One of the best features is that this ceramic body stays at a lower temperature that other portable heaters, making them safer around pets and small children. So if you have children or pets this would be a great option for you.

The generous folks at Honeywell are giving one of Susan’s Disney Family readers a chance to win, a Honeywell HZ-430 Surround Heat® Ceramic Heater. Would you like to win? Please let me know who could use this heater? There are also other ways to enter, please enter below.

Boy would I love to have this space heater. In my apartment complex, I am at the absolute end of the heating line which means I usually get minimal heat because down the line the other apartments are warm or hot and the landlord does not turn up the temperature so it can reach me.
