Our Take:

With the holiday season here, you know you will be seeing many versions of the beloved story from black and white classics to cartoons. The Muppets Christmas Carol stand out from all of the rest.  I remember when I was a little girl my my favorite holiday show of all time was The Muppet Christmas Carol. Would you believe that this movie  is 20 years old? Wow I remember seeing this for the first run. For me it was an instant classic.

And to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Muppet Christmas Carol they are releasing a special edition of this great movie. The 20th anniversary includes the film that is 89 minutes and a bunch of extras.

Make sure to pause the movie to see the intermission, very neat.  Audio Commentary by Kermit, Rizzo the rat and more, the  blooper reel and  behind the scenes features.

My daughter has never seen this movie before, and we are looking forward to watching this special edition with her, she is always up for a holiday movie (just like my husband) so we can't wait to watch this. 

This is the Dickens classic is told by all your favorite Muppets  Kermit, Miss PiggyGonzo and many more!  Kermit is Bob Cratchit and Miss Piggy Emily Cratchit.in this version of A Christmas Carol is the role of Scrooge which is played by Michael Caine, and he is made for the part.  You family will love this movie make sure to pick it up for yourself or another muppet lover on your holiday gift list this year.
