Great gift ideas for Dads and Grads from Snoopy! #Giveaway

It is that time of year again, it is June and you know what that means, it is time for a lot of gift giving occasions. From birthdays, to Father’s Day to graduation, June ushers in a lot of great gift giving opportunities. Have you looked for gifts and got frustrated, not knowing just what to buy for the dad or grad on your gift list? Well I have some great suggestions for you all! Snoopy has some great gifts dad and that grad will love! Here is a list of some fun gift giving ideas.

1. The Art and Making of Peanuts Animation: Celebrating Fifty Years of Television Specials. This deluxe visual history treats Peanuts fans to an in-depth look at the creation of the beloved animated Peanuts specials, from 1965's classic A Charlie Brown Christmas through 2011’s Happiness is a Warm Blanket. Animation historian Charles Solomon weaves a rich history with gorgeous, never-before-seen concept art, and dozens of interviews. $45, Available at Amazon and other major book stores.

This is an amazing book that is packed with great Peanuts information. My husband is a art lover, and he always wanted to be an animator ever since he was a kid. This book was a hit with him, he loved all of the great pictures. And I loved seeing the great pictures of all of the holiday specials I grew up seeing. This is a great size book that would make a unique coffee table book.
2.   Junk Food Tees. Wear your heart on your sleeve with these soft cotton tees, featuring a fresh take on your favorite faces. (How about “Call a Doctor Cuz I’m the Illest” for that sureto-play-hooky college freshman?) $17-34, Available at junkfood.com. My husband has always loved wacky tees, and these Junk Food Snoopy tees are so cool. The shirts are soft and very comfortable. My husband wore this shirt, and he loved the way it fit, and the cute saying was a plus. I am sure dad or grad would love showing off wearing this cool tee.
3. DVD Go Snoopy Go . America's favorite pastime only gets better when Peanuts gang hits the field in the TV special It's Spring Training, Charlie Brown. Baseball season's first game is coming up, but Charlie Brown's team doesn't even have uniforms. Can their new player, little Leland, help them reach a big victory? Then, the antics continue in five adventures from The Charlie Brown & Snoopy Show. Snoopy swoops in on the gang when he thinks he's a winged predator in Vulture, Linus tries to break a habit in Blanket, school means trouble for Peppermint Patty, the back of a bicycle is the road to excitement in Rerun and Charlie Brown tries to rouse spirits in Rainy Day. always room for a little Peanuts wisdom and fun.
There is nothing better than just relaxing and watching a fun DVD. This Peanuts dvd brings you right back to your childhood. Watching all of the zany hijinks with the peanuts crew. This is a fun dvd to give as a gift. And it is very affordable as well, for under $10 you can give a great pick me up gift they will love.

4.  Be Brave; Be Kind. Featuring Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, and the whole Peanuts gang, Be Brave: Peanuts Wisdom to Carry You Through provides encouragement when facing new experiences by pairing the characters with appropriate inspirational messages (“Be Ambitious” and “Be Innovative”). In Be Kind: Peanuts Wisdom to Carry You Through, the Peanuts gang and their characteristic values (“Be generous,” “Be compassionate”) remind us to keep others in our thoughts. $7.95, Available at Amazon and other major book stores.

These are great inspirational books that would be great for a graduate. Sure school may be over, but this does not mean that life is going to be easy now and they can get discouraged. These handy little books, help put life into perspective, and give’s some great inspirational messages, that will brighten anyone’s day.
5.   Whether thru snail mail or email, Hallmark has just the right Peanuts card for every occasion. , Available at Hallmark.com,  Ecard subscriptions $12 per year, cards $2.49 & up. I have always loved Hallmark cards, it is our go to card shop. There are so many great Snoopy cards for every season, you will be sure to find the best card for dad or the grad on your list!

6.   Snoopy Coaster. Take a thrilling ride with Peanuts in this iOS mobile and tablet app. Leap from track to track and collect coins as Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, and Peppermint Patty speed along the wildest rollercoaster in the app store. Grab trading cards featuring original Peanuts artwork, and collectibles to unlock classic Charles M. Schulz comic strips. This game from the creators of Angry Birds is sure to be a hit with kids of all ages.  Available in the iTunes store for $.99.  If your husband or dad is anything like my husband, he is a tech lover. My husband is attached to his Ipad, and he will not travel without it. From searching the internet, to checking mail to playing games. He love to do it all, and Ipad games are especially fun.

If you’re seeking the perfect gifts look no further. No matter where you are in your life, there’s to express your admiration, love, and support look no to the men who raised us and cheer on the young It’s that time of year again, where we raise our glasses to dad and grads.
