Shake up plain peanut butter and jelly with fun sandwiches using Peanut Butter & Co. peanut butter & jelly! #Giveaway #PBJrevolution

“As a member of Peanut Butter & Co.’s Yum Squad food blogger club, I received product in exchange for this post. All opinions expressed are my own.”

Are you a peanut butter fan? You are going to love, Peanut Butter & Co. They are all about peanut butter the classic and unique delicious flavors! Here is a little information about Peanut Butter & Co. from the website:
Peanut Butter & Co.'s line of all-natural peanut butter contains no hydrogenated oils, no cholesterol, no trans-fats and, no high fructose corn syrup. Our flavors are gluten-free, vegan (except for The Bee's Knees which is vegetarian), and certified kosher. Lastly, but just as importantly, we only use USA-grown peanuts in our peanut butter. At Peanut Butter & Co., we continue to find ways to bring you healthful and delicious products. We've just introduced our new line of all-natural baking mixes as well as peanut butter packets that you can enjoy on the go. We've got lots more in store, so please keep us company on your journey to deliciousness!

About the Founder: Lee Zalben is the founder and president of New York City's world famous Peanut Butter & Co., and the man behind "gourmet peanut butter." . On December 21, 1998, the vacant storefront became the Peanut Butter & Co. Sandwich Shop, offering not just various kinds of peanut butter sandwiches like The Elvis and Pregnant Lady but also peanut butter in newfangled flavors like Dark Chocolate Dreams and Cinnamon Raisin Swirl.

I was very fortunate to be able to check out Peanut Butter & Co. preserves in  apricot and strawberry jam and peanut butter, in the flavors Mighty Maple and Smooth Operator.
Mighty Maple - Our all-natural peanut butter blended with yummy maple syrup. People have been telling us that they love to spread peanut butter on pancakes and waffles for years. They love the way the rich and creamy peanut butter blends with sticky, sweet maple syrup to create an unbelievable taste sensation. This new variety of peanut butter is a tasty way to enjoy two great flavors - try it on toast, stirred over oatmeal, or on a sandwich with crispy bacon!

Smooth Operator - Our great-tasting all-natural peanut butter just got even better! We've reformulated Smooth Operator so that it is now in the No-Stir Natural style. We've added a little bit of palm fruit oil (containing zero cholesterol and zero trans fats) to keep the peanut oil from separating. This means no more stirring the oil back in! Made of peanuts, a little bit of salt, and a little bit of dried cane syrup for sweetness, this delicious no-stir version brings you closer to the peanut butter of your childhood without the high fructose corn syrup and the hydrogenated oil!
Awesome Apricot Preserves - Here's a fresh take on a PB&J. Next time you get a hankering for a taste of childhood, pair your peanut butter (try Crunch Time) with some Awesome Apricot preserves - it's a taste and texture combination you're sure to love!

Seriously Strawberry Jam -Nothing takes us back to our childhood like a good ol' PB&J! Next time you're in the mood for America's favorite sandwich, try it out with our luscious strawberry jam.

Are you ready for back to school? Well it is just about that time here in the Northeast, time to get the uniforms ready purchase all of the needed school supplies. One thing that always come with the new school year is school lunches, and (for me) the lack of ideas of what to make my daughter each day. Sure getting one of those meals that are pre-made with the sandwich and drink and snack is easy but they are full of salt and not something I want my daughter to have every day… So what is a mom to do?

Well I have to get creative and come up with fun new sandwich ideas that keep my daughter interested and of course they have to be yummy!  Last night I started practicing, why not come up with a fun tasty and exciting peanut butter and jelly sandwich? My daughter loves peanut butter and grape jelly, but I know it can get boring… I wanted to mix lunch up a bit with delicious flavors from Peanut Butter & Co.  First up I made something I never tried before, a grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich. The sandwich was easy to make, all that was needed was:
Ingredients:
Bread
Butter
Peanut Butter & Co. Apricot  preserves

Peanut Butter & Co. Mighty Maple
I made this sandwich like I was making a grilled cheese (less the cheese), I buttered one side of each piece of bread then I added the peanut butter and the preserves after the bread was buttered, topped the sandwich with the 2nd piece of bread and grilled.. What happened next was amazing, the smell that drifted through the house of warm peanut butter, it was mouthwatering! I knew this was going to be a special sandwich.
Of course my husband had to have one as well. We all loved the melted warm Peanut Butter & Co. Mighty Maple peanut butter mixed with the Apricot preserves… The  Mighty Maple has a small crunch and a great texture that worked so well with the sweet apricot flavor and the toaster bread.  This sandwich was a winner!
Of course I had to make a classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich, with just a small twist…. My daughter has never had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with any type of jelly that was not grape… Grape was her jelly of choice, but I wanted to have her try something new. I made a sandwich with Peanut Butter & Co. strawberry jam  apricot Peanut Butter & Co. Smooth Operator, peanut butter.
This many not sound revolutionary for a sandwich, but for my daughter it was… She loved the tart and sweet fresh strawberry taste of the jam mixed with the smooth and creaminess of the Smooth Operator Peanut Butter & Co. peanut butter.
I have two new sandwiches that my daughter is looking forward to having again in her school lunches, that is such a great thing! We all know that PB&Js are an American classic, but it’s time for a revolution! If you are looking for a great back to school lunch idea be sure to join the PBJrevolution!  How would you revolutionize the PB&J?

What a great idea to make a PB&J like a grilled cheese sandwich! So simple but I never thought of it, especially in the Winter to make a quick warm lunch. This peanut butter is the best, my favorite flavor is the Whit Chocolate Wonderful. It's awesome & I buy it all the time!
