If you love the Americana and cool things that are simply American, you are going to love the colorful new book, Addicted to Americana: Celebrating Classic & Kitschy American Life & Style. As soon as I saw this book, I knew I was going to love it, and boy was I right. The beautiful colorful photographs cover nearly every square inch of this fun book. I have loved classic Americana and attractions/sights like this since I was a little girl and it is great to have all of these great places all together in this wonderful book. When my family and I travel, I am always planning some excursion that includes some kind of cool oddity from Lucy the Elephant in Margate NJ to simply having to stop at the huge donut in the sky at Randy’s Donuts in California.
Come on you have to admit this large donut just screams stop here and get some donuts, and we had to listen … right? This book would make a great coffee table book, a wonderful book to strike up a conversation about memories of places you visited or places you have always wanted to go.  I love the way Charles Phoenix takes classic slides then adds a new picture of him near the attraction, this is something that I would love to do!
