A visit to The Hershey Lodge, an wonderful Hershey PA hotel with some great perks! #HersheyPA

*** I received lodging and admission to the park for the subject matter contained in this post, all opinions are 100% my own***

The Hershey Lodge is a warm and welcoming resort, for us this is the best resort for the colder months. The hotel is located in Hershey PA, only minutes from Hersheypark but feels like it is secluded lodge in the woods.

My family and I have had the pleasure of staying at The Hershey Lodge in the past, and we love it. The rooms are top notch, with fantastic chocolate inspired toiletries. Guests receive the best price on Hersheypark tickets, FREE front gate shuttle service, Hershey's chocolate, admission to Hershey Gardens, and The Hershey Story Museum.

There are so many great amenities at the hotel, including Kids Check-in, and lots of complimentary fun things to do, indoor and outdoor swimming, family activities, and a sports and recreation complex, including miniature golf.

The spectacular Hershey Gardens, and the must visit Butterfly Atrium. #HersheyPA

*** I received lodging and admission to the park for the subject matter contained in this post, all opinions are 100% my own***

I have been visiting Hershey PA since I was a little girl, at least a handful of times a year for many many years. Overall of those years, I have never visited the Hershey Gardens, this was something we wanted to visit but we just never fit it in. Not this time, we were going to get over to the gardens early and visit and see if it was a great as I had heard.  The Hershey Gardens are easy to get to they are right across the street from Hersheypark, and down the road from The Hotel Hershey.

Admission is $12.50 per person, but if you are staying on Hershey property, you will get free tickets to The Hershey Gardens for your entire party at check-in.  I was excited to check out the gardens and we headed off right after we checked into the hotel. The gardens were a short walk from The Hershey Hotel, we were all looking forward to the visit, and the day could not be nicer.

When we arrived we were greeted and told that this was a great time to visit because the 20,000 plus tulips were in bloom. Wow, that is a lot of tulips! Now let's see just what they were talking about, just at the entrance there we so many tulips, the scent fragranced the air and they were breathtaking. We took time to slow down and appreciate nature’s beauty to stop and smell the flowers literally and figuratively if you will…

Join along with a fun filled day at Hersheypark, this amazing park is celebrating its 111th anniversary! #HersheyPA

*** I received lodging and admission to the park for the subject matter contained in this post, all opinions are 100% my own***

Spring is here and the weather is (finally!) getting nice here in the Northeast and for my family, it is time to visit one of our most favorite parks Hersheypark. There is a lot going on for Hersheypark in 2018, besides celebrating their 111th summer season, there are so many cool new things for the park including, The Boardwalk At Hersheypark, great concerts to yummy food trucks, and of course all of the classic Hersheypark favorites.
Since it was going to be a warmer (warmer than the 30 degree spring days we have been having in April) my family and I decided to take a dive up and visit Hersheypark in Hershey PA and enjoy a fun weekend together as a family. My daughter is growing up so quickly and I want to be sure that we take as many family trips as we can and enjoy the time together before my daughter is away to college, ack just the thought!
So we packed up the car and headed off to Hershey PA, for us, it is about a 2-hour drive, and then we are in Chocolate Town USA! with Hersheypark there are always so many great things to check out. From wild thrill rides like the classic coasters, Great Bear, Skyrush and 11 more! Hersheypark has a total of 13 coasters, your thrill fan will geek out for sure.  There is also the thrilling Hershey Triple Tower! This is the first choose-your-thrill triple tower in the United States.

I am off to a galaxy far, far away! Well... really LA for the premiere of Solo: A Star Wars Story and more!!! #HanSoloEvent

****Disney is providing an all-expense paid trip for me to cover this great event, all opinions are 100% my own ****

I am headed off to sunny LA, and getting away from the winter/spring we have been having in Philly. I am going to do something that is more than amazing, I am going to have the privilege of attending the Red Carpet premiere of the latest movie in the Star Wars line, Solo: A Star Wars Story.  A Star Wars red carpet? What? Yes! If you know myself or my family you know that we are huge Star Wars fans. From movies to collectibles & toys & comics, to tattoos, everything… Even our license plate is Star Wars related! So needless to say, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, a real dream come true.
Myself and 24 other amazing influencers will be headed to the premiere and attending the press junket where we will be able to interview select talent from the film. Who will we be interviewing? I will know soon, and I will update and let you all know.  I am hoping for Woody Harrelson, come he has been in so many great things, and Ron Howard would be a great interview he is a legend. I am on pins and needles bursting with excitement to find out more.

While we are there we will be celebrating the 65th anniversary of Peter Pan. Getting ready for the in-home release of the Peter Pan Walt Disney Signature Collection. Peter Pan Walt Disney Signature Collection available on Digital 5/29 and Blu-ray 6/5. We will be visiting and exploring the location where the movie was made!  We will not just be visiting, we will be following a pirate map to find treasure during a scavenger hunt on the Disney Lot, along with visiting Walt Disney’s office! I am pretty competitive, and I have not done a scavenger hunt in years, it is exciting!

What fun and treasure will we discover, well we will both find out together! The Peter Pan excitement and fun doesn’t stop there we will also be visiting the Animation Research Library where we will see some original drawings from the animated classic. Whoh, that is pretty impressive.  We will be able to experience the upcoming Nurses Ball episodes, set to air the week of May 16-21. *** I received lodging and admission to the park for the subject matter contained in this post, all opinions are 100% my own***

While thinking of the top five greatest things about Hershey PA during the holiday season, one of the items that stick out for me is the amazing sweets that seem to be everywhere during the holiday season. From holiday treats at HersheyPark, to Hershey Chocolate World to Hershey Hotel offerings there were plenty of sweets to enjoy.

From cookies to brownies, ice cream, to cupcakes there are all sorts of yummy treats to behold. So many in fact that I wanted to dedicate a post just to the sweet goodness found in Hershey. While searching around for fun holiday sweets we came across quite a few instant classics that we have to share with you all!
While perusing Chocolate World in Hershey PA you will be amazed at the selection of sweets. From pumpkin fudge to all sorts of cupcakes, just take a look at some of the awesomeness! Oh the cranberry white chocolate chip tiny cakes looked amazing so mouthwatering, and very seasonal.
Of course, there is an abundance of sweets available for sale in Hersheypark too… How about a King Sized Shake… this holiday special flavor comes in your choice of milk chocolate shake or frozen milk chocolate flavor, and of course, it is topped with all sorts of goodies for you to enjoy.

Get a behind the scenes look at ZooAmerica with an Early Bird Tour #HersheyPA

*** I received lodging and admission to the park for the subject matter contained in this post, all opinions are 100% my own***

Sure you may know Hershey is famous for its chocolate and amazing amusement park but did you know that located in Hershey Park is an actual zoo? This is not just any zoo, it is zoo that features many rescued animals from our continent, called ZooAmerica. You won’t find tigers, or elephants here, but you will find bobcats, eagles, and other animals that are indigenous to North America.
Have you ever wanted to get an up close and personal look of some of your favorite animals at the zoo?  If you are planning a trip to Hershey on the days the tours are held Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays you will have the chance to sign up to take the Early-Bird Tour of ZooAmerica. This special tour can accommodate up to 10 people per tour and it roughly lasts 2 hours. We recently were very fortunate to be able to check out this tour with our knowledgeable tour guide Kelly. Kelly was very friendly and seemed to really love her job and the animals she works with. Her love for the zoo was infectious and we were all excited to tour the zoo learn some facts and meet animals.

Early on a Sunday morning, on a crisp 26 degree day we joined our guide and headed out to explore the zoo. The tour takes you all over the zoo, in places that not everyone can visit. It was cool to go behind “the velvet rope” of sorts. During the tour we learned so much about the animals and their habitats and how some of the animals at ZooAmerica are actually rescue animals. It is amazing how many people get wild animals as a baby and want to raise it as a pet…
They soon learn that they cannot handle the animal and sometimes just abandon the animal. The animals cannot survive in the wild… Then in steps ZooAmerica, this amazing place helps animals who have no one else to help them. It’s sad that these beautiful creatures never got the chance to be themselves, but if they weren’t rescued and left to live life where they were illegally owned or just set free in the woods these poor things wouldn’t have been able to survive. They’re thriving at ZooAmerica and we had the opportunity to feed them.

Check out the NEW BBLz™ @HersheyPark they offer cool unique drinks and they are amazing! #HersheyPA #SweetestMoms #BBLzatHersheypark

Have you visited Hershey Park recently? One of the cool new additions for 2017 is a sweet drink stop that is unlike any other, BBLz™! What is BBLz™? Every BBLz™ beverage combines a soft drink from Pepsi-Cola’s portfolio, such as Pepsi®, Diet Pepsi®, Mountain Dew® and Mist Twst®, with fun ingredients, including Hershey’s confections, such as Reese’s Pieces Candy and Twizzlers Strawberry Twists, to create unique, whimsical beverages. You can choose (if you can, choosing from these amazing flavors is so hard!) from seven innovative BBLz™ recipes. While visiting last weekend one of my must do’s was to get a sweet drink from BBlz™. We traveled to the Triple Tower section of the park. The Hershey Triple Tower is also new for 2017, this thrilling ride brings drop rides to new heights, you choose your height! While we were not there to ride that ride today, it was cool to be able to see the Triple Tower right outside of the BBlz™ shop.

The Falconry Experience in @HersheyPA is something you would not expect, but will love! #HersheyPA #Sweetestmoms

*** I received admission to the experience for the subject matter contained in this post, all opinions are 100% my own***

Sure Hershey PA is filled with chocolate fun. From the amazing Hershey Park filled with exciting and fun rides and experiences, to the chocolate tastings, to the Milton Hershey Museum to the amazing sweets you can find all around town.  We love it, and why not it is great family fun and you can never go wrong with chocolate for breakfast lunch and dinner!  But there is something to do at Hershey that you may not expect, something that does not have to do with chocolate or rides (but it is pretty thrilling) something that after going to Hershey PA every year since I was a young girl, I never knew about.  This something is The Falconry Experience, that is held near The Hotel Hershey. My family and I were very fortunate to be able to check out this experience this past weekend, and we had a wonderful time.
It turns out that The Falconry Experience has been in Hershey PA for 9 years, but we had never experienced this until now. We were missing out! The Falconry Experience offers a unique opportunity for guests of all ages to participate in an interactive demonstration featuring hawks, falcons, and a Golden Eagle. Don’t worry you do not have to be a guest of any of the Hershey hotels (The Hersey Lodge or The Hotel Hershey, but there is special resort guest pricing, if you are staying on site be sure to look into that) to experience this program, it is open to any guest that would like to participate. The cost is $65.00 per adult, and for kids 15 & under the cost is $25.00. Not bad at all, it is pretty affordable for such a bucket list type of experience.
