The comedy with bite is back and funnier than ever; TOOTH FAIRY 2 arrived on Blu-ray and DVD March 6 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. The one man comedy phenomenon, Blue Collar Comedy Tour’s Larry the Cable Guy (Cars, Cars 2, and History Channel’s Only in America) sinks his teeth into this outrageous follow-up to the 2010 theatrical hit Tooth Fairy.
This in-name-only sequel stars Larry the Cable Guy as Larry Guthrie, a fun-loving dude eager to win back the heart of would-be love Brooke. After upsetting a child with a loose tooth at the afterschool program where his dream girl works, he is punished by having to become a real-life Tooth Fairy. Dressed in pink tights and ballet shoes, will Larry be able to carry out his tooth-collecting duties and reconcile with Brooke?
Our Take:
Are you a big fan of Larry the Cable Guy? Well we are I just think he is a funny guy. Did I ever tell you guys the time I had the chance to meet Larry in person? Well I had won a radio station contest for tickets to the show, and backstage passes! Well that was a great win in my opinion. We were able to go back stage and meet Larry before the show.
He was such a nice and genuinely sweet guy. He spent time talking to us all and just having a good time with us. He took pictures with us and signed just about anything we wanted him to. Perhaps this is why we are such big fans, and come on he is pretty funny.
As soon as the DVD arrived my daughter could not wait to watch it, saying “Larry is in this, it is funny” she is so cute. She was excited to watch the movie, so my husband and I watched it with her. The movie was cute, Larry played an immature person in love well. I loved the cute little piggy in the movie, I thought he stole the scenes he was in. The entire family liked the movie, my hubby even chuckled and enjoyed it. My daughter liked it so much, she asked to watch it again right after we watched it! So we let her watch it again on the laptop.
Would Larry get the girl, would he learn to be more responsible? Well I will not spoil it for you. You will have to pick up this movie to find out : ) I would recommend this movie, it is cute and entertaining. This will be a great item to add to an Easter basket. Children and adults will enjoy this movie.
The Tooth Fairy 2 is a great family movie, I am sure your family will love it just as much as we did.
